It is interesting to find a 24 hours operating ramen shop at where I’m staying in Ang Mo Kio, considering this neighbourhood a little walk away from AMK Central.

While I’m not sure whether there’s really people coming past midnight for supper, but it is definitely a cosy and air-conditioned space to enjoy a bowl of warm ramen.

Although it is so near to my house, i only found a good time to visit today to grab my lunch.

You need to make your order at the self-service kiosk that located outside the shop, before you proceed to your seat inside and wait for your order number to be called.

I went for something unusual, choosing the duck meat ramen this time. The duck meat is tender, soup is tasty, springy noodle and egg. A comforting meal I would say.

Finally visited this recently famous ramen restaurant, @ramenya0103 that really makes you feel like you're in Japan! With just 8 seats in a tight space, expect long queues and waiting times. I queued for 1.5 hours at about 7.30pm on a weekday afternoon 🫠

I got the Tonkotsu Ramen Black ($12.80) which I felt was quite affordable with quite a few pieces of char siu. The main star of the show got to be the broth, as it was extremely thick (almost like a sauce) and it had so much umami flavours while not being too salty. We all agreed that we can definitely drink alot of the soup! Love that the garlic oil added extra umami as well. The noodles were alright, quite al dente. Char Siu was very tender and flavourful!

Definitely a great bowl of ramen, but really does not warrant the 1.5 hour wait. 30 minutes is the maximum I will wait for this!

You can even X2 noodles🍜🤩 for TSUKEMEN (12.90). I chose the “red” option for my broth which was flavourful and only mildly spicy. Sides we got were huge, crispy juicy fried chicken and plump gyozas🤤🤤; I couldn’t decide which I preferred between the 2!

so goodd but i wished the noodles were more QQ and portion could be bigger

✨$9.90 Teriyaki Chicken Don for a limited time at @soramensg from 1 April - 30 June across So outlets (NSQ, IHQ, NEX)✨ Also available on delivery platforms (@grabfoodsg , @foodpandasg , @deliveroo_sg )

Not like the usual instant, made fresh with succulent pieces of chicken thigh meat and glazed with a rich, glossy teriyaki sauce.

available at all three outlets:
📍 @nex.singapore , 23 Serangoon Central, #B2-58, Singapore 556082
📍 @velocity_nsq , 238 Thomson Road #01-05, Singapore 307683
📍 @breadtalkihqmall , 30 Tai Seng Street, #01-03, Singapore 534013

Came to try the set meal, but there are no savings from the normal menu.
I think the noodle was not the best, compared to other mazesoba outlets. The sauce is ok and the ice lemon tea was nice. But the noodle and tofu were very average.
May not come back since I can find better mazesoba at similar price points.
I would say this deal is good for people who like tofu and eggs.

Found surprisingly decent ramen all the way at Changi City Point! All dishes served were all quite good!

The Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen Set ($16.90) came with slurp worthy bowl of rich broth ramen with a side dish and a drink. The black garlic broth was very rich with umami and savoury pork broth flavours and the noodles were rather al dente, just slightly too soft for my liking. The Cha Shu was alright, could be softer!

For side dishes, there were a few choices and we got the kaarage and gyoza. The Kaarage pieces were quite meaty, with a crispy exterior and rather juicy interior! The gyoza pieces were not bad as well, just that the meat filling had quite abit of ginger such that you can taste it quite strongly!

Decent ramen for a meal if you happen to be here!

Charcoal grilled abalone slathered generously with Tsukiji Yamago 70 years sauce and on a bed of jalapeño mayo
.
The freshly grilled abalone offered a harmonious blend of textures and flavours. The subtly sweet shoyu sauce beautifully complemented the tender abalone, while the jalapeño mayo provided a spicy kick, adding depth and excitement to each bite.

Simple ramen nothing fantastic but it is inexpensive

This seemed not among their signatures but hey sometimes you gotta test them by the backdoor right? This is shabu meat stir-fried with green chilli. As always, an onsen egg lifted it. The meat was kinda ordinary.

not sure if something's up with my tastebuds lately but i can't decide if i enjoyed the mazesoba today 🤨 found the flavour abit lacking although i liked that the texture of the soba was pretty bouncy & chewy! i had the tomyum soba which was pretty good on the first few bites but then kinda got boring after abit. the garlic mazesoba my friend had was not bad though. love the option to customise your bowl to have lesser noodles & more veges - good option for chive lovers.

the okonomiyaki though was rly 😍 w the sweetness of the charred cabbage. drinks during happy hour were all $6 but the yakut so chu was soooo watered down & mid. the yuzu highball was a good one though, definitely recommend.

anyway final rating for me is 6.5/10!!! good service though 💗
