This is a hidden gem in Kampong Glam - relatively quiet and cosy environment, with authentic and ornate decor that spans two floors in an old shophouse. Perfect for tourists and locals alike; an Instagram-worthy place as well!
Prices are quite affordable, and the Peranakan food was authentic and tasty. We shared the buah keluak chicken, Nonya chap chye, homemade ngor hiang and tahu telur. All of the dishes were great, esp. the tahu telur and Nonya chap chye.
This place also takes reservations, and the wait staff are helpful and can take good photos for you too (: Greatly recommended - will be back for future visits!
One for one set meal deal. The food tastes pretty ok, however its not cheap.
Better than sanook but not comparable to Nakhon / soithai
Here’s all we ordered:
3 basil pork rice
Tom yum seafood noodles
Kang kong
Fried chicken
Prawn cake
Papaya salad (less spicy) — still quite spicy
2 Thai iced tea, lemongrass and one water
Total: $69.++
Price is ok for the volume of food with the burpple deal. Btw their wet wipe charge is 50cents so rmbr to pass to the cashier.
Would recommend trying with the burpple deal.
My usual go to for Thai food if I’m around the area.
Garlic pork is fragrant and juicy, while the garlic is nice like garlic chips.
Lemongrass fish gravy is very tasty as soup, usually would not order Tom yum soup if I ordered this.
Rather oily but the Minced meat was nice and seasoning was again on the lighter Side. The French beans were younger i believe(or maybe a different variety from the ones we are used to) , so thinner and crunchy as it should be
Quite good wok hei, texture was good, if it were more strongly seasoned with soy it would have been perfect

Very good, it's refreshing, complex, not overly sour. The bite is nice and not too much either, and the dried prawns were unique and added much umami
I havent had too many but this is probably the best ive had
this rendition was pretty decent, flavours were balanced but shiok enough, while the seafood were alright but could have been abit better. Oyster mushrooms were nice
One of my favourite Thai foods. I order it when I see it.
Quite good! Not dry like some pork.
A lot of the stems were undercooked and couldn't bite through. The dish was also overly salty. Quite fail.
I'm happy to find an authentic khao pad. Umami with wok hei.
