๐พ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง had an exciting new lunch menu. When we visited, the vibes there were cosy and chill - a contrast to the luscious metal tubs of fresh caviar which sat in front of us. Overall, the lunch tasting menu by Caviar was decent, but had nothing to shout about. With its fair share of hits and misses, we felt that one flaw was actually the lack of caviar. Perhaps a small little scoop would have sufficed - just for a taste! Nevertheless, we appreciated the effort that Caviar made in creating new flavours and bringing new items to the menu.

We started off their 4 ๐๐ค๐ช๐ง๐จ๐ ๐ก๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ช with the ๐๐ข๐ช๐จ๐ ๐๐ค๐ช๐๐๐: a small pastry filled with beef, truffle mushroom, and creme fraise, right from the chefโs selection!
Following this, we were served their ๐๐ค๐ช๐จ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ ๐จ๐๐จ๐๐ข๐. As always, house bread tastes the best, especially so when paired with their creamy homemade butter with seaweed.
The ๐๐ข๐๐๐๐ was a dish that featured fresh tiny prawns in a concoction of buttermilk and chestnut chunks. The sourness and tanginess paired well with the sweet seafood. The deep fried prawn head added a crispy touch!
We did not expect how rich (and how jelat D:) the next dish was. The ๐ช๐ฃ๐ ๐ฅ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ was drenched in an umami sauce that was a bit too much for our tastebuds. The salted lemon rind did not bring enough acidity to help either, but we must say that the uni was fresh.
The ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฎ๐ช ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The miso mash potato, broccolini, and brussel sprouts though plated clumsily were well-curated garnishes.
