Celine's Gelato Cart

Milkshake was smooth and with a obvious watermelon taste, and left me with a thirst for water. I was hoping for hints of sorbet, but didn't taste any.
Was hoping to quench my thirst, but they unlike other ice cream stores I know of, water was charged at $5.50++ for 50 cl.
The ambiance of the place was nice, but for $8.50++, better value can be found elsewhere.

Waffles are crispy and fluffy on the inside. Chai latte is spicy and aromatic. The ambience and decor of this place are really pretty and charming. The burpple deal is worth it!

Nice place to chill, ice cream flavours (pistachio and durian) are good too!!

We enjoyed this very much too! We read reviews online that said the nutty flavour was lacklustre but we felt that it shone through during our visit and went deliciously well with its creamy texture.

Sadly, their waffle was a bit too dense and quite filling 🥴maybe it could have been lighter and getting 1 to share (instead of 2) would be enough!

Matcha Latte 🍵🥛
This came with pretty latte art and was an INTENSE colour of green! When we drank it, the matcha tasted strong with a little grassy aftertaste that reminded us of seaweed :O apparently this “umaminess” is indicative of good quality matcha! There was quite a bit of undissolved matcha at the bottom so maybe the ratio of matcha to milk could be tweaked though.

This was a classic cup of hot chocolate HAHA it’s on the sweeter side but enjoyable with the ice cream and waffles!

Celine’s Gelato Cart is tucked away in a store at Novena Regency, about a 10 min walk from Novena MRT (due to ongoing construction). The interior is pretty aesthetic, and you can see their classic gelato cart too! The staff and owner were friendly and helpful when recommending flavours. We definitely enjoyed our time that afternoon and would head back to try their other flavours.

Chocolate 🍦🍫
Surprisingly, this was our preferred flavour! The chocolate was dark, rich, and not too sweet. Interestingly, the gelato here wasn’t the slight sticky texture gelato usually has, but instead was more creamy!
