The lunch set comes with a cup of coffee (not pictured), and I added $1 for the egg.
This Hainanese chicken rice is evidently not the kind you would find at your coffee shop. The rice was dry and lacking flavour, the cucumbers tasted.. not extremely fresh. Fortunately, the chicken saved the day. Not only was it a huge piece, it was marinated well with ginger. The external crispy layer was both thin and relatively tasty, helping one to forget the less-than-enjoyable rice. Nonetheless, it is unlikely I would get this again albeit how decent the chicken was.

The serving of beef balls and beef slices was generous and the meat was fresh and tender, and i also liked the addition of sliced ginger in the soup. However, noodles were too soft, a little overcooked and the broth was a bit too salty for my liking. Overall, taste okay but a bit hmm for the price.

Enjoyed this style of cheong fun as it had a slightly charred taste to it together with their peanut sauce and sweet sauce. Would wish for it to be more charred but overall was so good.
This is my first time going to the restaurant hence decided to have leap of faith and bring my friends along. I ordered the Wanton Noodle ($7). For the Wanton, they put the whole deshelled prawn in and it is fresh.
My friends wanted to try the Thick Toast with Peanut Butter Condensed Milk ($5.50) and the bread was sweet and crunchy which is not commonly found.
Lastly, I order their Chee Being Fun ($5.90). The rice riils was smooth but the sauce is different from we usually eat. I don't really like sauce.
Honestly, not worth it. I would rather go to Kopitiam and get it at a cheaper price. Noodles were really oily as well. Cost around $10+.
The dory fish slices was marinated and salty in taste.
There is 1 mussel, 2 or 3 scallops, a few crab meat, 3 or 4 dory fish slices, and 2 or 3 prawns
