Both served in the fried option. The “Peach” Kueh gets its name from its heart shaped 💜, otherwise known as “Png Kueh” 飯粿 because of the glutinous rice filings. Served steamed or lightly pan fried. The other item is a pan fried carrot cake, drizzle on the black sweet sauce and chilli, the feeling of nostalgia strikes back!

Black bean kueh, pan-seared kam yueh and pan-seared soon kueh $3.60

You can see the aunties at the side making the kueh on the spot! Their skin is soft and chewy. Filling is well portioned too especially the amount of yam chunks in the yam kueh. Searing the kueh made them so crispy and sinfully good.

Chanced upon this kueh stall one morning and decide to try. Ordered their yam and pumpkin cake respectively. Oh gosh, this is GOOD 👍🏼 Physical yam cubes are found in their pan-fried “cake” and is visible to the eyes of the eater. Similarly goes to the pumpkin. The carrot base was soft and fine, really love their texture!

Hand made kueh using traditional recipe.
Generous amount of chopped chives in Ku Kueh, (rare find) savoury black bean kueh and crispy-outside moist-inside Chinese carrot cake.
Pan seared, add sweet dark soy sauce and dip the chilli sauce. $1.20 each piece.
Made fresh daily. Level 2 stall.

Can't get better than these. We are losing these traditional snacks too quickly...
