Chanrey Tree was highly recommended by the locals, and you have to book a table in advance for this place. The decor for the place is amazing, lush greenery to block the busy roads. Wooden chairs with concrete tables. Ample fans to cool off the Cambodian heat, and staff that communicates fluently in English.
Food wise, it's a safer place to have Khmer cuisine, without worrying about running to the toilet later. Clean, and beautifully plated, these Fresh Spring Rolls are well wrapped, with well seasoned minced chicken and drizzled in garlic oil. But somehow it's the dip on the side that won my heart. I have tried many spring rolls, non as good as the dip here. Nutty, savoury, sweet and sour rolled into one, it's no wonder that even the locals asked us to give this a shot. The flavours while its mild, it's cohesive and distinct. Nothing like an appetiser to kick start the course of the meal.

Must-tries include the delicious Fisk Amok (Traditional Cambodian curry with steamed bar fish and green "gno" leaf) and the "Char Khroeung" (stir-fried frog legs in a mix of Khmer spices).
