It brings along a concoction of strawberry jelly, custard fresh cream, strawberry confiture, fresh cream and strawberry sauce all in one convenient cup. Fresh flavorsome Japanese Strawberries on the top adds to the entire blissful experience.

Best seller in Chateraise. Love the cream to cake ratio! At 1st glance, the cream seems to be overwhelming but, it isn't. Sponge cake isn't dry and the cream is so light! Yumm

One slice is priced at $5.10

Matcha Bouchee for breakfast! 🍵🍰💚 Quite liked the fluffiness of the sponge cake and the dense matcha cream, but it wasn't mind blowing enough for me to eat it again. 🙈But I'll definitely be back again for the original/ matcha cream puffs and butter dorayaki! 🥞Yum Yums! 😋💚💚💚

Came across a Fermented Butter ice-cream in a cup at the Toa Payoh branch but was only in the mood for ice-cream when I reached the branch at Hillion where they only carried this that was new. There were a couple of flavours — was hoping my pick would be the Maple Butter on first guess but ended up to be Orange. Still, this was quite good for a pastry item that is kept in the freezer — the macaron shell was still chewy, though a little lighter than how other places made theirs. Both the layer of ice-cream in between and the macaron shell gives that zesty orange flavour — you know, the ones that's a little too sweet as though it's from some concentrate (but it's dessert anyway). At a price of $2.20, it's probably a deal that's the best of both worlds — how can one get an ice-cream and a macaron for this price?

Had been eyeing on this item for quite a while — the Dorayaki itself was a little too porous compared to the usual ones out there, but it does carry a light hint of brown sugar syrup sweetness amidst the fragrant batter use for the pancake. In between, it contains a rather thick layer of Azuki which gives it that signature combination of flavour of Dorayaki that it is known for.

Visited Chateraise at Hillion Mall and they seem to have dropped an all new flavour — this Rum & Raisin Bar comes coated in white chocolate, while the inside reveals a slightly mellow booziness with loads of raisins. Very value for money at $1.20!
