$4.70 @ chateraisé

Not too sweet, love the many layers filled with cream in between each layer.

With the recent hype over Mcdonald’s matcha softserve and people commenting that you can’t expect much for something so cheap, I would just like to urge all of y’all to give chateraise’s Kyoto Uji Matcha soft ice cream a try. It’s only $2.50, pretty wallet friendly, especially considering that i was walking around town and saw that the matcha softserve was selling for an inflated price of $1.70.

I think i can safely say that this is one of, if not the best matcha ice cream that you can get for $2.50. The ice cream is smooth and creamy and carries a bittersweet, earthy flavour worthy to be called matcha, and not like that of heaven & earth’s green tea drink . Even the cone is good, having a distinct black sesame fragrance.

The bird’s face is decorated with chocolate cereal and chocolate.
-Cute Bunny (S$5.10): The Cute Bunny is a velvety strawberry mousse cake containing a layer of white chocolate cereal flakes and a sweet-and-sour strawberry sauce core. It is a dessert decorated to look like a bunny consisting of chocolate with caramel-flavoured cereal and strawberry-flavoured fresh cream.
-Cute Panda (S$5.10): This is an irresistible white chocolate mousse cake with flowy chocolate sauce in the centre. A layer of chocolate cereal on top of the signature soft sponge adds a nice crunch.

Double Fantasy (Double chou cream)

Q well frozen so the you can't mix the soybean powder in and it can be slightly dry at first. The ice cream itself is not bad tho but I would have preferred more black sugar syrup since it's only a thin layer on top

This cake is filled with layers and layers of cream and mille crepe goodness atop a soft, fluffy sponge cake base. This simple yet delectable dessert is my favourite and must-order from Châteraisé!

Price-wise, I would say it's pretty decently priced at $4.70 for a slice of yummy, not-too-sinful goodness.

At the time I was wavering between buying Awfully Chocolate's chocolate crepe cake and Châteraisé for this White Zebra. The two stores face each other so it was like a face-off of mille crepe cakes.

In the end, Châteraisé triumphed because their slices were bigger and almost half the price of Awfully Chocolate's!
