One thing for sure is that there are many stalls here and the place really does emulate what a Thai night market would feel like. Some of the food options here are really quite nice too. Be prepared to spend though as the cheapest thing you can possibly find here for food is about $5. You can however find some good deals for drinks.

The ice cream still tasted pretty authentic though. Like the ones in the real chatuchak, the coconut shell cup has scoops of coconut ice cream, some coconut flesh and green jelly. Quite refreshing for a hot day if you don’t mind the price!

Had been wanting to try 大大条 fries after seeing it in many food fairs and pasar malam so finally went for it at Chatuchak!

There are 3 options of sauce to choose from:
- Regular : $7.90
- Premium : $8.90
- Half (only 1 premium sauce max) : $9.90

We chose the half option and opted for Seaweed Mayo (regular) and Mentaiko Mayo (premium). There were a total of 10 fries and each fry is super long 😂 but other than that, taste wise it's not super fantastic and the sauces were quite forgettable too.

Nonetheless, appreciate that they really use seaweed flakes for seaweed sauce instead of the usual seaweed powder haha. Good to try it once but probably won't buy it again.

We had the Pad Thai ($8), Moo Ping (3 for $5) and coconut shake ($7).

Vanna's Pad Thai was okay - slightly on the drier side but was happy with the portion. It's sweeter than most pad thai but definitely still very delicious.

Moo Ping was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!! It's the corner stall beside the coconut ice cream stall and the queue is insane. Not hard to see why though. The moo ping is fantastically marbled and it's soft yet meaty at the same time. So good. It's a definite must get if you're going to Chatuchak Singapore.

Coconut shake was quite refreshing and am glad to see that only coconut, coconut water and ice was used as the ingredients! Slightly pricey but it's a huuuuge cup so not bad!

Saw everyone drinking this and I was enticed by the large cup + refreshingly icy appearance. But it tasted like water and was a total scam. Mr Coconut is 100x better!

Price: $6
