Came back for their incredible combo deals. This set had beef brisket noodle soup and wonton soup.

Wontons were good, lots of bouncy prawns inside. Soup was flavorful too. Beef brisket was not as tough as I thot, despite removing all the fats. Soup was great, with the added sweetness from the beef brisket gravy. But the best thing had got to be the radish. So soft that it melted into a puddle of soup when I put it in my mouth. Soo good.

The shrimp wanton noodle ($9.95) has a really good broth with 4 large wantons that are filled full with juicy shrimps. The winner of the meal has to be the chilli as they used roasted dried chilli with sichuan peppercorns for the smoky flavour and numbing sensation that added another dimension to the dish.

To order each dish Ala carte, the shredded pork & century egg Congee was $9.95 and the dumplings in chili oil was $10.95. So this deal was a steal. Although I’m not sure if ordering the dumplings Ala carte would also yield 5 pcs. There were 8 such value for money combos available to choose from.

Congee was on the bland side. But there was a natural sweetness in each spoonful that was quite appealing. Ideal as a light snack. I asked for century egg to be removed.

Dumplings were plump and juicy. Meat inside was tender and the prawn was bouncy. I definitely would prefer to have more garlic. It wasn’t sour enough but was really very spicy. I liked this very much.
