It was my first time trying Egg Appam, which is a South Indian pancake dish, and it made for a good and hearty breakfast. It has a perfect sunny side up in the middle, and served with orange coconut sugar which goes very well with the savoury notes!
This place is quite a walk away from Little India MRT station but heard it’s v popular amongst the locals and foreigners :)
Vadai or Vada is like a savoury fried Indian snack. Often served as a breakfast item which is why we decided to get it alongside our egg appams.
Please request for the green chili from the stall owner! It tasted soooo good with the green chili. I was pleasantly surprised even though I can’t take much spice.
