Best part of this dish is their fried fish! Super crispy even when it was in the gravy from the start till the end. Gravy is not the best I've tried but good enough when mixed with the minced garlic and chili. You can only get this bowl of goodness from 11pm

Where can you find such a good Lor Mee at night in the city centre? Here of course! I never have such a satisfied supper until I have the chance to try their Lor Mee. Got for the mixed ingredients for $4 where you will get fried fish slices and meats. Open from 10:30pm until early morning.

Open only from about 11pm to 10am, this supper haunt isn't easy to catch unless you're a night owl. But staying up past your bedtime is well worth the effort, because this lor mee is nothing short of superb.

Beneath the impenetrable darkness of the goopy braised gravy are coils of yellow noodles, beansprouts and fishcake, while poised above are chunks of the most amazing fried fish I've ever had – crispy, meaty and succulent, with none of that sickening grease that so often ails deep-fried foods.

Be sure to mix in the spoonful of chilli and minced garlic, as they do serve to bring the dish's overall flavour to blow-your-mind levels.

Finally tried this hard to catch @chubbychiabeelormee (they open only from 11PM to 10am). Normal portion of Lor Mee ($4) comes with big pieces of Super crispy fried fish and they are really very generous with it!! Fish was fresh with no oily or fishy smell 👍🏻 However, my heart still tilt toward Zhen Hao Lor Mee in the next food centre for really flavourful lor with choice of noodles!! In other news, spying the Economic Bee Hoon just opposite Chia Bee for their perfect looking fried eggs 😻

My Fav lor mee. Maybe cos it was the first time I tried it? The others I tired couldn't match up. Great for the supper crowd cos they start around 4 am, I think? And close in early pm. First cum first serve. BURP!
