If you have not seen Magnum’s pleasure garden campaign for the new Macadamia Salted Caramel Magnum series.... you clearly have not been on social media 😂 or at City Hall station 😬
Branding aside, Magnum has truly finesse indulgent chocolate treats. The signature chocolate coat with Australian macadamia nuts works like a charm beside salted caramel ice cream that fares, well beside some artisan ice creamery; or better than others.
Not sure if this comes in their mini version but I’d suggest skipping the mini and going for the regular which was a perfect portion for one IMHO.
P.S: Thank you Burpple for the invite to the Magnum Pleasure Garden✨

Finally made my way down to check out @hvala_sg’s expanded space at @chijmes.sg and was spoilt for choice! 12 flavours of gelato and all looks really good. How to choose?
-
Settled for Chaffogato ($7.80) and a scoop of black sesame gelato (that’s for another post). -
Will be back to try other flavours!

The goma cake was really moist with an intense black sesame flavour to it, it was slightly sweet for me but not overwhelming to the extend I couldn't finish the cake. One of the best in Singapore in my opinion.

With flavours like matcha(level 1 to 3) to the usual few of houjicha and Earl grey and uncommon ones like iribancha, there are many options to choose from.
I had a double scoop of matcha 3 and Iribancha with the latter becoming my favourite now. The level 3 matcha was quite manageable in my opinion, you do get the intense flavour ending on a bitter note. Iribancha was the unique one, with a smoky flavour similar to that of a smoked ham turning it into more of a savoury softserve instead of a sweet one.

.
Serving 3 different types of matcha gelato that vary in ascending intensity priced from $4.80-$6.80 per scoop. Other flavours like Iribancha, Matcha Soy, Goma, Houjicha & several more are also available.
.
Prices are pretty up north but considering it’s the only exclusive matcha tea house experience in Singapore, go for it! The waffles are slightly undercooked the time we went (bready/cookie style), would personally recommend y’all to opt for the cone or cup instead, would really love to see someone going for all 3 levels at a go ☺️
