Hainanese coffeeshop įœŸįžŽįčŒļ厤 on East Coast Road. Went there on a weekday morning, hence the queue was reasonable. Waited about 15mins to get seat.

I tried the signature traditional charcoal toasted bun with authentic kaya and a thick slab of butter reasonably priced at $4.90. The petite size Chocolate Peanut Butter Tart priced at $2.20, caught my attention, decided to grab one and tried. To my surprise, the tart is really good. Thick rich chocolate with slight saltiness from the peanut butter.

Tabao-ed their otah bun home. They were pretty good. Big piece of otah wrapped with the bun.

Overall experience: The kaya and butter ratio were reasonable and the service staff was friendly and proactive. I probably find CMC better than YY kafei

I decided to get the kaya toast and eggs set that came with a drink which I upgraded to milo dinosaur. The kaya toast comes with buns toasted over charcoal then slathered with a layer of aromatic kaya and a slab of butter. The kaya is thick and not overly sweet, accompanied with perfectly cooked soft boiled eggs and a cup of cold, thick and shiok milo dinosaur to beat the heat while queueing to get these on my hands.

Kaya Toast + Eggs + Milo Dinosaur 》$6.20

Cheesecake brownie made with a layer of marbled cheesecake layered on top of a brownie. The cheesecake is not too cheesy and marries the rich and thick brownie very well 》$2.60

The cream horn is a buttery and flaky pastry filled with vanilla buttercream. This is definitely an old school treat and I love how the texture was light and creamy yet not being overly sweet and oily 》$2

Used to came here for kaya toast before they are closed for renovation. My first visit after they reopen as I didnt want to spend too much time queuing. Hehe.
The bread is soft and fluffy with generous spread of kaya and thick slab of butter. I personally like it.

Had breakfast at @chinmeechin.sg without having to queue long because we were first in line before they opened 😂 we had the Kaya toast set along with some of their buns and a gula melaka chiffon cake. I liked how the buns and cake were fluffy and the service was good too! It's a nice place to have breakfast at but I probably won't queue long for it 😅

The kaya is as good as it used to be. The eggs were disappointing but the OTAH BUN is worth Dabao-ing!
