Another dish from 123 Fish Head stall is this prawn paste pork. It was indeed juicy and less bone.

With so many stalls that also sell steamed fish, there’s also this stall with no obvious signage name but just with a the name of 123 on yellow banner with their signature steamed fish head.

Because they promised to prepare our food fast so we decided to try their’s.

Comes with lots of ingredients on top, the steamed fish wasn’t heavy in the taste and those ingredients doesn’t compliment the taste as well.

Am a huge fan of yam so I’m always excited to try yam desserts or food. This unfortunately was quite disappointing. The uncle behind me ordered a full bowl of yam so I was thinking to myself ok it must taste good right! I feel that the yam flavour was not really pronounced, and the skin to filling ratio was quite off (skin was too thick for my liking). Appreciate the fact that everything is handmade and the yam paste is v smooth but flavour wise, it can be better.

I would still stick to peanut and black sesame flavours in future 😀 but the peanut soup was good!! Peanuts are cooked till soft. So comforting especially in cold weather.

❤😋 BRAISED DUCK KWAY CHAP feast in Chinatown. The food was good!

Ordered a variety of items; pickled vege, eggs, tofu, braised pork belly, pork skin, braised duck and 4 bowls of kway chap. Total cost around S$24. Value for money for this quantity and quality.

The highlight was the tender duck meat and tasty sauce, the chili was nice too. Recommend 👍.

Always been a fan of their tang yuans! But this is my first time trying Red Bean and Matcha flavours because all the other flavours have been sold out by the time I patronize the stall (please go early! Before 7pm. To avoid any disappointment)

To my surprise, the red bean filling was pretty solid! Will start ordering this the next time :)

Matcha filling will be a delight to matcha lovers. Quite neutral with that, would prefer to stick with the more traditional flavours like peanut, black sesame, and red bean.

And may I add that the food is v affordable?? 3 for $2 and you to choose between peanut soup, ginger soup and red date/longan soup!

😊 Simple bowl of yong tau foo (S$3) for lunch.

Theres 4pcs YTF with bee hoon. I always see a long queue for this. The soup is light, clear and not oily.

They use ikan bilis to make the soup base and some fried ones added over the noodles. Theres no sweet sauce, only have chili sauce. If you prefer a light meal, you can go for this.
