Added $1.50 more for the otah. The assam sauce was sour and spicy with slight sweetness to it. It whetted my appetite as it made the whole dish even more appetising. The set was definitely value for money as it came with chicken, stewed cabbage and fried egg. And I love how it was served on a traditional tiffin plate, giving it a nostalgic feel.

A pretty cool hawker that sells spinach soup as the main dish. This spinach soup tastes exactly like the vegetable dish of spinach with three kinds of eggs that you can find in restaurants and zichar stalls. You can either order this soup on its own, with yong tau foo pieces or with seafood. You can also top up to add noodles. The portion is really generous and filling. Definitely tastes like home!

Popular Mee Siam. It has a well-balanced sweet and sour flavour with a mild spicy kick. Recommend👍

Nice silky congee packed with flavors and ready detailed prepared ingredients. The liver was cut in just the right thickness which gave it a “crisp” texture. No foul smell from any of the ingredients. Initially I found it a little under-seasoned but as I get into the bottom of the bowl, the taste was just right. Every hint of sweet was felt. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 .

OH YES try the peanut + peanut butter one - it will make your day I promise!!!!

From a humble stall called Jing Mei Prawn Mee, this prawn mee was actually pretty good! The broth was potent and very flavourful, and the prawns were fresh as well. Think it's quite a steal to get this quantity and quality for this price!
