$10.9. Decided to give this a try since I usually get the mentaiko. This one comes with 7 pieces of salmon (they actually kindly specify on their menu about how many slices they put in each menu item). Chili rly a bit spicy cause it’s chili padi but enjoyed the kick hahaha

I look forward to lunch breaks at work just so I can come down to Chirashi King Kong to order their Salmon Spaghetti.

Generous portions of pasta, mentaiko, and salmon aburi. The attraction of this place is it's affordable price point as well, so I hope it remains that way🙏🏻

Beef, egg and rice. That’s all you really need for a simple yet scintillating dish. @chirashikingkong offers their version for $12.90 nett, which is a killer deal especially in the city area.⠀

A prodigious, perfectly poached egg is begging to be popped & mixed in with the terrific truffle infused rice. Arrayed atop the bed of rice, the numerous slices of skilfully seared beef sukiyaki are sufficiently seasoned and lightly drizzled with some tasty teriyaki sauce. The delectable beef is delicious enough with plain rice, but it’s paired up with Chirashi King Kong’s trademarked truffled rice & an explosive egg for a combo that’s way outta sight.⠀

This Yakiniku Bowl sounds far too simple, but it’s all that’s needed for a gluttonous good time that won’t leave you destitute. Yakiniku? More like Yuminiku, fam.

Despite the name, there’s nothing particularly gargantuan about @chirashikingkong. Their foie gras ootoro bowl is decent enough, but it certainly isn’t as loud & attention grabbing as their namesake ape, and the flavours aren’t really all that massive.⠀

The tuna belly (ootoro) was expertly torched, but I never quite got to fully enjoy it as it was diced into small cubes, and there weren’t that many of them either. However, there were two respectably sized slices of foie gras, and they had quite a nice sear on them. Oddly enough, one slice was perfectly cooked, with a texture like melting butter when I bit into it, while the other was overcooked & solid like gelatine.⠀

The best element in that bowl was undoubtedly the stellar short grain Japanese rice that’s been mixed in a terrific mix of truffle oil & flying fish roe. Yep, that’s Chirashi King Kong’s signature element in all of their ricebowls. What you get is sensationally seasoned rice that’s slick and indecently irresistible, and it occasionally pops off with a salty burst thanks to the diminutive flying fish roe hidden within the rice.⠀

Getting a bowl of torched tuna belly, foie gras & redolent rice for $19.90 nett is quite the bargain. Sure, it could be better, but that would probably mean a well justified price increase. Come to think of it, I probably wouldn’t mind that too much either.

Wow this was hands down rly the most value for money salmon don I’ve ever had in my life.... most of their bowls are only $10.90 or only a bit more and yet they gave 8 nice salmon slices and were so generous with the other ingredients...

Rice was truffle infused omg SO YUMMY rly only bad thing in the bowl was that the rice was a bittt clumpy but yes omg would definitely come back again!! 😊😊👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

This was so value for money! 🙊 Ordered the Aburi Salmon don ($10.90) which came with 8 thick slices of fresh salmon, and added on a slab of foie gras ($10). Ugh so good, and I’ll gladly have this every week.
