We both got the mini as we weren’t feeling very hungry, and while I was sufficiently filled, I got hungry more quickly before the next meal, so maybe just get the normal sized ones 😂 The rice to fish ratio was okay tho! There was enough rice for the amount of fish.
The cubed sashimi (salmon, tuna, yellowtail(?), scallop) was reasonably fresh and chunky, devoid of any fishy taste. Tamago was decent, less sweet than usual. The sweet sauce drizzled on the rice was alright, and while good quality Japanese short grain rice, I do wish it came a bit stickier.
Each bowl comes w some raw lettuce w cherry tomatoes, plus miso soup that had dried scallop in it!
Overall thought that this was a nice clean meal, though I felt like it was missing a little oomph. Will be back to give them another try - eyeing the aburi chirashi don next!
Phew! Glad that I made it in time to place my last order before their closing time.
Ordered @zushishou’s truffle chirashi don [drizzled with truffle oil and topped with tobiko] which wins on its freshness, generous assortment of cubed sashimi and affordable pricing at $15.90! 🥳

food: came quite slowly, but it was fine. i would not recommend eating the spicy version as it might mask the freshness of the fish :")
This eatery serves delish and affordable chirashi don. There are many variety of fishes in this bowl and they were fresh and makes it a filling meal. It is really well priced and quality is superb!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Aburi Chirashi Don was so nice, the sashimi was fresh, thick cut & melt in your mouth with that char-grilled taste, so lovin’ it!
Friend had the kaizen don, cannot agree more that these are good stuff~ and the oysters were big and fresh, so much better than some of the other restaurants out there~
Will definitely revisit & recommend this Jap restaurant!
Note: A humble Jap restaurant, limited seats available, so do expect long queue during peak hours…
Damage: $57.85
If you want a kaisen don with thick, fresh slices of sashimi at affordable prices, this is the place to go. There’s 3 thick slices of salmon, 3 yellowtail, 2 scallop, 2 tamago and 1 shrimp, topped with a hefty amount of ikura. The queue at 1pm on a Monday was 20min long, and it can be over an hour for weekend dinner. Do note that if you order via grabfood or on the website, the menu is limited, but you can get the full menu if you call to takeaway.
