Always been a fan of their 2D and 3D latte art. While today’s 2D art was less detailed and impressive than previous visits, their cute designs never fail to bring a smile to everyone’s faces. Such meticulous intricacy also came at no added cost and a relatively short wait time: ~15 mins for 2D and ~30min for 3D foam.

Beyond the aesthetics, the drinks were adequately enjoyable. The flat white ($5), made using @yahavakoffee beans, was smooth and fragrant. We opted for zero honey for their (honey) matcha latte ($6), and enjoyed the rich, earthy matcha notes, although it was a tad powdery. The iced caramel latte ($6.50) could do with stronger coffee bitterness to balance against the sweet caramel.

The pancakes are okay but this is the best and coolest place in the area so worth visiting if you are in the neighborhood.

Pancakes are served with warm maple butter sauce which is unique and yummy.

The latte art really caught my attention (SO CUTE) but friends and I were pretty disappointed by the drinks and cakes. Choc lava cake wasn’t hot when it came and the ice-cream was just the normal vanilla ice-cream and it was actually $11... my tiramisu latte was really sweet (perhaps I shouldn’t have chosen this...) and we also got the strawberry shortcake that was $8? And we didn’t even finish :-( tho my friends did enjoy their hazelnut lattes!

At Chock Full of Beans, foam is where the art is~ After seeing photos of all the cute 3D latte art on social media, we decided to make our way down to Changi Village to witness it ourselves! Aside from their the famous 3D foam latte, we were also expecting to try their Brulee French Toast. Sadly, we were informed that the cafe no longer serves them. However, they do have several other brunch items that look pretty appetising as well!

Do note that 3D latte art is only available for iced coffee and is strictly by request only! So, do remember to input your request in the comment box when ordering. We requested for a 3D foam piggy on our iced mocha and even added the piggy emoji in the comment box so that the barista can better visualise our request~ 🐷

It took a while for the coffee to be served but the wait was worth it. We were totally delighted by the cute foam piggy on our iced mocha! However, the ordinary tasting mocha made us wonder if it is really worth paying a premium for this. Anything for the ‘gram I guess! ☺️
