Went for lunch with my friends. Grilled fish with fresh chili was superb and addictive but sweet and sour was salty. Overall food mostly good but most of them too salty to my liking.

This is already my third time here and I foresee multiple visits even if I run out of 1f1 deals! It is super value for money (we paid around $42 for 2 pax, incl of drinks - top up $3 each). 2 diners can order 1 grilled fish and all the items on their lunch menu (which is really a great variety). For dinner buffets, you can order everything on their extended menu (that has seafood).

Service - 8/10
Food - 9/10
Value for money - 9.5/10

While the prices may not come cheap, it’s pretty damn reasonable for what you’re getting. This outlet of Chong Qing at Mosque Street is my favourite as it comes with the 1 for 1 buffet deal on Beyond! Almost everything tastes good here but my recommendations would get be the mala grilled fish Xiang la at medium spiciness and a bowl of white rice. The fried chicken pieces in mala is also highly recommended! All these things are pictured above.

1 for 1 Buffet allows you to order a fish (per pax omg) but only Seabass (which tasted good!!) and every other side dish! We had frog mala, butter lala, beef innards, dou miao and more lala. Super worth it. We had their drinks too but it wasn’t included in the buffet - the lime tea drink was good!! #burpplebeyond

Round up the gang for a massive Grilled Fish (from $32) dinner at this eatery along Mosque Street! Pick your fish to go with a selection of broths, from Spicy Numbing Mala to Pickled Cabbage, before completing the meal with sharing plates like the Salted Egg Calamari with Thai Herbs ($14) and fragrant Fried Rice with Diced Prawns ($10).

Not able to use burpple beyond for the grilled fish ($38+). We ordered 4 main dishes and 1 grilled fish. At 小辣, it’s pretty spicy. Instagramable storefront. Taste: have tasted better
