Fishball Minced Meat Noodle (S$4.50)
Mee poh spicy dry version

Chun Fu Fishball Minced Meat Noodle . Laska 春福鱼圆肉脞面. 叻沙

Battle of the Kovan Bak Chor Mee; this is 1 of 3 popular noodle stalls that attract queues.
.
The competitive edge here is the hand made meatballs, bouncy and juicy with lovely sweet savoury flavour.
.
The braised shiitake mushrooms carry vegetal earthy salty sweet flavour, served warm from the constantly bubbling stew.
.
The pork lard and sambal chili infused gravy coats the chewy mee pok / wide flat egg noodles well, with the spicy savoury flavour gradually building throughout the meal.

Wah, I randomly got this and it's better than expected. Pretty flawless. Most curry noodles are too heavy. This was full-bodied without going overboard.

My fav BCM stalls in Kovan Market & Food Center!

Springy noodles tossed in mouth watering vinegar & lard with a hint of chili sauce then topped with braised mushrooms & fish cakes making this bowl of BCM taste heavenly awesome.

Oh ya, the BCM also comes with a generous portion of balls (fishballs, meatballs & vege-meatballs) in soup !

The BCM here really worth every pennies 👌🏻

Choice of noodles up to your own preference.

Curry got the lemak taste but not much coconut milk which is good. Portion of chicken also quite generous and noodles were springy.

Situated right beside the popular Fa Ji Ba Chor Mee, both stalls nevertheless have their own returned customers.

I love how delicate the auntie prepared this dish - piecing kway teow and vinegary sauce together, and adding ba chor and those balls together. Lastly, adding the pork lard brings the whole dish to a whole new comfort level.
