Saw a long queue the previous time I was at GMFC, this time round, queue wasn't so long, thus decided to give it a try.

Had the $5 portion.

The sambal-like chilli sauce was quite spicy, almost explosive.

Pork ribs were soft and tender

Prawns were crunchy.

Overall quite solid, it is worth the long queue in my opinion.

Mix between between yellow noodles and bee hoon served with ingredients tender pork ribs, 2 prawns (fresh),bean curd, bean sprouts, fish cakes, slices of hard-boiled egg and bowl of herbal soup on the side.
Mix it well, with the house made chilli paste (not that spicy) with a nutty flavour, super shiok.

Chilli Mee @ $4

Been craving for dry prawn mee with mee pok, and this is the closest thing that I could find here as most of the stalls sell praw noodles soup.

For $4 it comes with 1 prawn, 2 pork ribs and daopok and fish cakes. The noodles texture is great and goes really well with the sauce, though it really isn't chilli sauce as it is not spicy at all.

Overall a great dish especially when craving is satisfied!

Each portion comes with a prawn, spare ribs, hard boiled egg, fish cake, tau pok, Chung Cheng’s signature chilli sauce that is also available for sale and a bowl of herbal soup. I was expecting some fresh prawns but they use frozen prawn that are crunchy. The pork ribs were tender and fell off the bone easily. The chilli was savoury and spicy with hints of prawn paste. The level of spiciness was alright at the start but as I was halfway through it, my tongue couldn't take it that I had to take a break and get some drink 》$4

While it looks like a regular bowl of dry prawn noodle, what sets it apart is the homemade chilli that’s generously piled atop. The spice gradually creeps up on you with every bite, since every bit of the noodles were well coated with the chili paste. That said, the spice is definitely still manageable! ⁣

It comes with a whole variety of ingredients like bean sprouts, pork ribs, prawns, tau pok, fishcakes, and slices of hard boiled egg. Love how they paid attention to the ingredients too, with the pork ribs being tender and soft, while in contrast, the prawns were crunchy and fresh! Accompanying it on the side is a tasty bowl of herbal soup which could helped ease the spiciness for those who have a lower tolerance to spice. ⁣

They are located at Golden Mile Food Centre, which is likely to close for renovations from Dec 2020 till Mar 2021 so hurry down to give them a try!
