I love churros and was willing to pay a premium for these. But it was kinda unusual as there were hot and cold churros. The former was obviously the classic one, which went according to script. The latter was the strawberry and dark chocolate churros, which felt like they came from the fridge. Strawberry was very sweet, while dark chocolate was very un-sweet, which I guess makes sense.

La Lola Churreria has both hot & fresh churros as well as chilled and coated churros (flavors: dark chocolate, white chocolate, strawberry, matcha).

I was craving for some churros during CB period so I went to La Lola to get them. Not many places in Singapore sell good old churros.

Love it and portion is huge, so it is good for sharing. I ordered Classicos medium size (6 long pieces at $6.90). Do note that the dip is sold separately, so I opt for dark chocolate as I don’t like overly sweet stuff. The dark choc sauce has just the right balance of sweet👌🏼.

Total price paid is $9.90 (medium Classicos + dark chocolate dip). To me, price paid is worth it as they serve premium churros & serving size is huge (can be shared between 2-3 people)

Tip: Staff is friendly as well. I requested my churros to be fried longer as I like them crispier😋

Came by with our Chope voucher and topped up $3 to get their Signature chocolate churro dip! Their dips are measured by weight and even though it looks little, it was sufficient for our portion. Our churros were served piping hot and crispy, dusted in sugar. Sounds kinda pricey, but their churros are much longer than the usuals you find - was surprisingly filling for the two of us.

Also, if you don’t want to leave with a lingering fried churros smell, try not to stay in the shop too long! 🙊

However, taste-wise the churros and the milk chocolate dip provided little more than a simple sweetness, which was a tad cloying.

6 churros and a dip for $9.90... it's alright, but not sure it's worth it. I might be back for other interesting-looking offerings though.
