Got the dry one so u get to try both flavours but it turns out the mee kia is really quite dry and hard to eat on its own. Props to the homemade sambal thats aromatic and full of umami without being sweet. The pork rib is also slightly different from normal, being braised with soy sauce and was reasonably tender. When they say big prawns, it's actually just the normal prawns lol. The soup was light and peppery, so overall it's worth a try if you live in the area

Ordered a mixed platter ($8) which could comfortably feed 2 pax. Loved the smooth kway sheets and well marinated innards that are thoroughly cleaned. Dip the parts into the tangy lime chili for an extra flavour shot.

📍Ci Yuan Hawker 01-29 (51 Hougang Ave 9)
🍜Pork Rib Prawn Noodle $4
There’s a variety of stores at Ci Yuan, and sometimes you can’t decide what to eat.
Ended up ordering from this store.
It’s not bad, broth is nice and not overwhelming. (Sometimes some prawn noodle soup can be too rich and it feels a little “artery clogging”)
When you’re eating warm soupy meals, you tend to sweat a little. Luckily there’s fans everywhere, and the ventilation’s good.
