Amazing service, amazing pasta at good prices. Good vibes as everyone seems to be from the neighbourhood as well. Best of all it’s dog friendly! The only downside is that for some reason Cibo uses plastic disposables to serve water and dessert - not sure why that’s the case!

What a typical introvert peeps 😅

Pasta Vongole - S$ 19.90

On any given hot day, you just got to have a husk of milky good coconut ice cream. So simple yet so heavy on the coconut milk, topped with grated coconut flesh, this definitely keeps you cool, any time any day.
PS: if you can't get enough of it, you are able to do a takeaway, since it's already individually packed in husks and ready to go.

A few days back, we had a pretty disappointing deconstructed tiramisu at 2am Dessert Bar.
But I am so Glad that I returned to Cibo Italiano for a proper tiramisu, bursting with the correct balance of coffee bitter and sweet mascarpone. Dusted with intense cocoa powder and chocolate shavings, I couldn't have it any other way. So unassuming, and packed with such intensity. And at half of the price at 2am Dessert Bar, worth every calories and pennies.
I supposed you just have to try the locals making the real deal now.

When this tiny bistro is own and run by an Italian couple, you know that everything on the menu is legit.
Take this handsome rigatoni and eggplant. Gorgeous tomato based sauce that is so flavourful, and meaty! Then eggplant is diced and crunchy, giving every mouthful a good bite. I swear, because of the red sauce having the beefy meat flavour, I thought I was having a meat dish! Slightly on the spicy side, which I am not complaining at all, compliment the extra cheese on side. So heart and homely, it sure feels like it's being cooked by an Italian grandma. Comforting, heartwarming, and certainly plain delicious.

Forget starters - they are small and over priced. The main draw here is their pizza. The calzone in particular was so good!! The cheese was lovely and melty and the extra sauce on top was a great addition to the chewy folds of dough.
