BBQ sauce Char Siew with leek, French cabbage (Tasty char flavour), potato (superb). The other main was the cod capellini which was delicious as well. Cod tasted like coconut and butter. Had the Mango sago dessert to end our meal. Perfect šŸ‘ŒšŸ»

Will come back again for the Hokkien noodles and French chicken.

Would recommend the miso cod capellini, cod was cooked well and the pasta tasted great! The char-grilled pork was good with the charred taste however, although all the individuals components to the dish tasted great, they all dont seem to go well together.

We finished everything. Had the Hokkien mee, wok hei was good. Veggie pasta not as worth it.

Cicada Signature Hokkien Mee ($16) is packed with wok-hei and a generous serving of succulent prawns, squid and pork belly. The saucy noodles is a tad salty, but a dash of lime juice helps to cut through the strong flavours. The home-made sambal is quite good as well - Iā€™m quite surprised to find a legit plate of Hokkien mee in a cafe like this!

Char-Grilled Pork Belly ($24) is a soft slab of pork belly grilled in a sweet, savoury and tangy sauce. It is not very oily as the fat-meat ratio is quite balanced. The grilled French Hispi cabbage is sweet and crunchy, which helps to keep the greasiness at bay.

Grilled Miso Cod Capellini ($30) comes with a slab of cod that is perfectly seared and drizzled in miso butter sauce. The cod is fresh and it goes well with the al-dente capellini infused with the aroma of garlic and topped with ebiko and shredded kombu.
