🎶 Plus your mouth too!!! 😂 .

And this baby from Citrus by the Pool is something I'll always say "aah" to! 🤗 Found under their menu as the Catch of the Day ($16.90+), this dish features a thick slab of pan-seared salmon 🐟 served on a bed of mashed potato alongside seasonal vegetables like corn 🌽 , broccoli 🥦 , cherry tomatoes 🍅 , mushrooms 🍄 and sweet potatoes 🥔 .

A pescatarian's favourite, the salmon fillet here is grilled to perfection such that its flesh is succulent while its skin is crispy and slightly charred! 🤤 .

To finish, the dish is then doused in a homemade cream sauce which really elevated the overall taste of the fish, mash and veggies. Yummy! 😋 .

Thanks @nickblitzz for the kind invite and @dawnchansg @citrusbythepool for the warm hospitality and the sumptuous spread ❤

Nothing cools you down on a warm Singaporean afternoon like a dip in the pool and a tall, cold milkshake! Try their sugary-sweet Caramel Popcorn Milkshake (from $8.90) or indulge in the sinful Snickerhead Milkshake (from $8.90). Accompany your beverages with the Grilled Free-range Chicken ($14.90) that sees a large sous vide chicken thigh doused in homemade brown sauce for a nice tangy finish. Yum!

😋 Their sister branch, @thecitrusbistro at Sengkang which is also located right inside the swimming complex. Talk about dining “by the pool” 🤗
TDLR: Those labelled with a ⭐️ are the items that we recommend/must-try!! 🙌🏻
🍔 Shiok Burger ($12.90, served with Cajun fries) — Savour the crispy deep fried chicken thigh, sliced tomato, crisp lettuce and sunny side up egg, topped with spicy chilli crab sauce on toasted sesame seed bun. You can’t finish it in one bite though 😉 🍖 Cajun Lamb Rack⭐️ ($21.90) — Pan-fried lamb was meaty and firm. Flavour wise, it was indeed substantial combined with the softness and juiciness of the lamb meat, topped with homemade brown sauce. 🐟 Catch of The Day ($16.90) — Pan-seared salmon was fresh and served with seasonal vegetables, mashed potato and their newly invented cream sauce. 🍝 Tom Yum Seafood Pasta⭐️ ($13.90) — Our favourite of the day!! Pasta was al-dente and soaked in their signature tom yum broth which was savoury and spicy 😋
🍫 Molten Chocolate Lava Cake⭐️ ($10.90) — Must order here, every lava cake order is served freshly! 😍
🥛NEW: Mighty Milkshakes ($8.90 - $10.90) — Huge cups available in 6 flavours 😱: Classic Vanilla,
Double Chocolate, Strawberry Gem⭐️, Caramel Popcorn⭐️, Cookie Crush and Snickerhead⭐️.

Thanks to @citrusbythepool for having me and Dawn for hosting us!! Anyway, did I mention that their serving portion is extremely generous, so it’s definitely worth the moolah! 🤩

Order their Fried Chicken & Waffles ($15.90). Initially I thought I would still be hungry after eating this but it is more filling than I expect. This is also my first time eating Chicken with Waffles.

The Fried Chicken & Waffles is accompanied with maple syrup. Hence, I was about to enjoy both the sweetness of the waffles and maple syrup and the savory for the fried chicken. The food is not bad.

We were also lucky that as the original Waffles is only left with 1 serving, my 2 other friends get to enjoy their Waffles in Belgium Chocolate & Red Velvet flavour.

We booked under Chope and there is 50% weekend early bird discount with no service charge which cost a total of $8.51 which is worth it.

However, one thing they have to improve on is the prepping of the food. It took a total of 40 mins before all our food is served and the restaurant wasn't packed or anything.
