I think the or nee + black sesame + pulut hitam are my favourites now.

as someone who doesnโ€™t like yuzu, this donut was actually pretty good! i think i would get it. super tangy and light cream but slightly oily. donuts werenโ€™t really oily though! pretty fluffy. milo dinosaur was good and the milo taste was quite present, not just choc flavour ๐Ÿ˜˜

The Yuzu Citrus ($2.50) had a strong hint of Yuzu and was refreshing! But the sugar-glazed exterior made it too sweet for my liking. The orh nee flavoured one ($2.50) which had a generous amount of orh nee stuffing that tasted authentic and was not cloying sweet.

Sometimes, going back to basics is key to creating something magical. This was the case for City Donutโ€™s ring of delights โ€“ every bite reminded me of the old-school one-dollar donuts you would get at your trusted heartland bakeries. ๐Ÿคค

They take it a step further with a different spin - well-loved dessert flavours these days such as Yuzu Cream, Orh Nee and Ondeh-Ondeh. They speak to the kid in me and the adult me whoโ€™s got a sweet tooth. ๐Ÿ˜

The best part about their donuts is really just how affordable they are - prices start from $1.30 and the highest it goes is $2.50. I could get at least 50 of these if I could. ๐Ÿ˜…

Ialso tried the ๐Ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ก ๐Ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ก (๐’๐†๐ƒ$๐Ÿ.๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ) and ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐‡๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ฆ (๐’๐†๐ƒ$๐Ÿ.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ), both of which were really interesting in their own ways - I rate them both 7-7.5/10! For the Ondeh Ondeh, I thought it could perhaps have more elements of coconut! And the filling was slightly too sweet towards the end (though I loved the Gula Melaka ๐Ÿคค). The Pulut Hitam was pretty decent too, but I guess I prefer the dessert itself because Iโ€™m not that big a fan of cream (though you can defo still taste the pulut hitam element in the doughnut) โ˜บ๏ธ
