This was quite nice but it’s not gooey/flowy type. It’s not too sweet too. Super worth with 1 for 1

A cozy little nook tucked out of sight because of construction in the area. Pretty decor and crockery. Super quiet, great place for conversations and work (note there's only one charging port).

Food-wise, nothing to shout about really, not for this price. Pecan pie ($9) tasted really healthy; the crust texture was good but everything else was either rock-solid or falling apart, and the flimsy wooden fork didn't help 🙁

Boy I can’t wait for a return to @clapcafe.sg. The last time I was there, I got myself the sticky date cake ($12 nett) which wasn’t homemade but is definitely delectable. The cake dough itself isn’t sticky, but the caramel seductively drizzled all over makes it sweet & sticky. The cake itself was moist & delightfully dense, and reinforced with the faint fragrance of cinnamon. And of course vanilla ice cream & whipped cream really sweeten this already delightful deal.

Next time, I’ll be over to clap their house made pastries. Their maple pecan tart looks like a tantalising choice, and so does their ravishing red velvet cake. Now that’s worth clapping for.

Got 1-for-1 cake deals. I ordered the Maple pecan tart ($9) & Blackout Choco ($8). Coffee I got at flat white ($6). Service was great, the owner saw that I was feeling cold in the cafe and offered me a warm water which is very nice of him to be observant. 👍🏻 great cafe

Find this hidden gem along Waterloo Street for their Maple Pecan Pie ($9), which was highly raved by Burppler Xing Wei Chua on "a soft crunch that reveals a nutty note that goes so well with the sweet fragrance of maple that is not overly saccharine beneath the top layer; all that against the buttery tart layer that actually holds up to the fork really well." If you're coming with a group of friends, get a taste of all their bakes from the creamy Basque Cheese ($8), sinful Blackout Choco ($8) and classic Red Velvet ($8), paired with a aromatic cup of Black ($5) and signature Pumpkin Latte ($8).

Oh what a hidden gem in Waterloo street! We had a hard time finding this cafe but it’s totally worth the efforts. Their cakes are not too sweet and pair very well with flatwhite. Will definitely return to try the pecan pie which was unfortunately sold out when we visit.
