Enjoy dining without burning a hole in your pocket, no membership required
There’s so much good food concentrated at GCM that despite the wide array of European breads available at Clark Street Bread, we could only afford to get a sourdough roll (the smallest item on the menu) for fear of wasting food and good bread.
The sourdough roll is studded with sesame seeds which mask the sourness of the roll. There’s a lot of nutty sweetness from these seeds, which I enjoyed, but my travel partner did not. If you eat just the bread without the seeds though, there’s a nice tang in the sourdough, which we both enjoyed. Wish we could try more bread, but at least we got to pick this up! In addition to selling the bread rolls and loaves, they sell toasts and sandwiches too. Worth a try if you’re in GCM in LA!
