A bit late but fyi they don't serve in claypot anymore. That layer of laksa sauce still made it shiok, but maybe psychological, without claypot there's something missing.

Waited pretty long for this laksa. It had a homely taste and was easy to finish as the soup was not too thick!

PRICE: $4/5/6

WAITING TIME: Oddly slow (10 mins) even though there was only 1 person before us on a weekday at 2pm

- Very watery at first, needs to stir well
- Cockles were fresh
- Not much ingredients
- Couldn't help but think Yishun laksa tastes nicer actually
- We both felt it was a little overhyped. Nice but not thaaaaat nice.
- Only thick white beehoon

WILL WE RETURN? Only if the queue is very short

I've read about this stall for the longest time, & have always walked past it but never tried. My dad ordered a bowl of laksa ($4 small/$5 medium/$6 large - prices are nett) & wanted to share - I couldn't say no.

I was surprised to find the soup not viscous at all; in fact, I was afraid with such thin soup, I'd be disappointed.

My fears were alleviated as I slurped my first spoonful - the soup is on the lemak side, but overall good flavour. Without adding any extra chilli paste (i.e. this is the default), the spicyness really hits the back of your throat. Have a drink prepared if you, just like me, don't eat spicy food much!

The thick bee hoon 粗米粉 noodles were a bit too soft for my liking, but absorbed the soup well. In terms of ingredients, they were alright in terms of variety, & fairly fresh. Plenty of shredded chicken, a dismal single prawn, several taupok pieces, cockles & beansprouts.

In all, this was a delicious bowl of laksa. I'm not head over heels in love with it, but I'd eat it again. Just not too often as it isn't the most healthy dish!

Worth the hype!!! The soup was not as thick as 328 Katong Laksa but just as good. I appreciated that there were no cockles and the inclusion of tender chicken was much appreciated. Wish there were more tau pok though.. :C

Claypot Laksa Small $4, Medium $5, Large $6. Continuously awarded Bib Gourmand award from 2016 till current. Love indulging laksa in claypot, keeping them hot till our last sip of gravy! Thick and qq thick bee hoon fully infused with their fragrant laksa gravy with lots of juicy taupok, beansprouts and cockles! So comforting and shiok, definitely satisfied our laksa craving! .
