Char siew wanton noodles

Interesting new stall which replaced the Teochew fishball noodle stall .

Granted that this black mess looked like a mess ( duh...), it was actually petty good char siew . Tasted somewhat like bah Kwa ... hahaha. Meat was tender and had a good fat to lean ratio .

The noodles were springy and without any alkaline taste. Wantons were passable .

I realised Singaporeans like anything that’s cooked with β€œ charcoal β€œ and sounds intriguing- -think charcoal cooked claypot rice , Satay , fishhead steamboat .

Worth a try.

Purchased from Lee Kwang Kee chicken rice stall. Chicken was tender and soft. Best part about this stall is that it provides ginger to go with your chicken whichI am a sucker for. 7.0/10

This stall has been around 448 market since a decade ago. When I used to stay in clementi, I will eat this once a week without fail.

The curry still as spicy as ever. Shiok.

For only $4

The price is $5 and it is quite good. If you want to have rice, just add 50 cents.
