Looks like a reaaally unassuming bowl of noodles ($3.50), but this really wowed me!! Slurped up every bit of flavourful thick broth. The noodles are also perfectly chewy but soft. My only gripe is that theirs is machine cut rather than hand pulled, which I’d prefer. They are super generous with ingredients and best of all is that they serve belachan chilli!!

A tasty plate of Braised Duck Rice, QQ skin texture, $4.50 with taupok & braised egg.
Highly recommended!
This duck rice has been around since the 90s. Totally awesome, never got sick of it. A must eat each time I return to my old home.

This BCM hits the spot when you are in the mood for some comfort food. Good mix of chilli and vinegar, with generous portions of minced meat and mushrooms. I usually add fish balls to combine my two loves - BCM and fish ball noodles. :)
Kopitiams are as good a place as any to grab a drink and chill out on a lazy Saturday afternoon.
