Wow this Banh Mi was rly decent! Baguette was fluffy and soft on the inside, toasted perfectly and crispy on the outside and yet not too hard (which can make other baguettes rly hard to eat). The meat was very soft and tender but I do wish that they put more veggies and pickles in haha I felt like they could have been a bittt more generous with the fillings.

The Pho was ok I honestly prefer the one at Mrs Pho better (which is actually just beside) but it’s rly hard to find good Banh Mi in Singapore I’m happy to have discovered this spot 😊

Overall, abit dry - could do with more sauce. Chicken was okay - abit dry with one big glob of fats and skin found. Bread was soft on the inside and crusty outside - the only saving grace.

Maybe I really should have picked the signature 😐

Nothing to complain about. Broth was light and sweet but would recommend getting their banh mi that's baked in house.

The second banh xeo I’ve ever tried, but this was lacking compared to Red Sparrow’s rendition of banh xeo. This came with shrimp, pork belly, bamboo shoot, bean sprout and green beans which were decently cooked, but the crepe batter was missing something, resulting in an underwhelming dish.

Entering Mrs Pho I was greeted by the typical bougie crowd again, so I was spurred to try out this authentic-looking place beside, and was positively surprised!
They make their baguettes fresh in house and holy shit. That fresh crisp of the crust reverberated satisfyingly whilst the innards were, in contrast, fluffy as a pillow. With a great base like that, almost any toppings would have made a good Banh Mi.
That said, they outdid themselves and delivered a great 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗵 𝗺𝗶 ($10) with oodles of glorious juiciness that flooded my mouth with beefy sweetness. The cheese added some richness whilst the freshness of the coriander and chili sliced through with some bright levity. The magical part? The baguette never got soggy even through all the juice.

One of the better, if not the best, banh mi I had in Singapore. The baguette was crusty on the outside and soft in the inside - still not as fragrant as the actual Vietnam bread but it will do. The banana spring rolls [$5] were nicely deep fried and sweet.
