Ikan Otah Kukus ($27.90)
.
Formally Pagi Sore, now rebranded as @coconut.paradises , they have retained much of their menu from my recollection including this ikan otah lukus. Regrettably, this was probably the only dish which I felt was relatively decent compared with the others we ordered. Our main gripe was that we were served food that was barely warm and sending it back to the kitchen probably meant they just took our half eaten dish and reheated it in the microwave and served it back to us. On another note, I was spamming this otah gravy onto my rice. The otah carried a fragrant aroma of coconut and was not spicy. The fish was also tender with minimal bones and didn’t taste fishy. This used to be one of my favourite Indonesian restaurants to go to locally.
