Got this big breakfast (available all day) for dinner for only RM11. It got 2 big sausages, 2 slices of ham, a small serving of salad, some slice of bread (croissant-ish texture) and (my fave!) 2 eggs! It is really a cheap find for a big-ass serving. And as mentioned before, GGMM has a good ambiance :) enjoyable meal it is.

This traditional pasta dish partnered with a jumbo hotdog (!!) is worth its price - very large serving for only RM12. The spice level is just enough for me πŸŽ‰

I paired it with my favorite cake from them (so far), Cheesecake (RM12)! The chocolate layer is so so good πŸ˜› - I always tapaw this to eat in bed πŸ˜‚ they said this is their best seller and their cake source' as well (Artisan - they said it's in Jalan Tun something oops forgot)

I am a constant customer. Not only the place has a relaxing ambience, the food is good and has generous serving for a very reasonable price. Instagramable place with their brick walls and art stuff :)

Today it's dinner with the Chai brothers. Well... dessert with the Chai brothers and off to Molly Good Molly Miss Morning Molly Coffee Jolly we went.

Ok that wasn't the name. But seriously. I'm bad with names. So I'll just call this place Miss Molly.

Miss Molly is a small cafe located in Seksyen 14 in Dataran Millenium PJ, quite well hidden, and was really quiet when I arrived. Though it would be good to take note I came at night 7:30 p.m ish and there were only 2 tables in use. Perhaps you'll see more humans during the daytime. They have sanwhiches, cakes, cold brew, ice blended, affogato, tea (even TWG for all you snobs) and... coffee.

Menu of the night oh so graciously decided by the Chai brothers:

Red Velvet (RM 10.00)
Chocolate Cheesecake ( RM 11)
No tax or service charge.

The red velvet cake had hints of orange in it. Probably orange zest which gave it an interesting note besides the typical buttery, sweet flavour of red velvet cakes. Definitely for the sweet tooth (very sweet. Alert) and best washed down with a cup of lattte or mocha, the red velvet cake was dense and rich and not meant for the weak hearted. The texture wasn't overly moist and is actually ever so slightly on the dry side but nothing the cream can't compensate for.

The chocolate cheesecake tasted more of chocolate cream than anything else. It was like... chocolate ice cream but a chocolate ice cream that isn't as cold and doesn't melt which results in that disgusting puke-like texture (read: melted ice cream). It tasted ever so slightly of cheese and the texture was rich and creamy. The base wasn't overly hard or rock hard (I've had my fair share of those). In nutshell it was chocolate cream. There, I said it.

Got a hot chocolate by the side which was probably dark chocolate hot milk. A little sugar wouldn't hurt guise. Like... really....because this tastes like dark chocolate with milk... while it probably is what it's supposed to be, really.... a little sugar wouldn't hurt.

Golly jolly miss Molly! Oh wait... I think that's not right....

And yes, parking is a pain. Either you try your luck outside, or you pay RM 2 for the first 2 hrs and RM 1.50 every hour after and RM 3.00 from 6 p.m till 6 a.m per entry in Millenium Square's basement parking.

Greetings with a picture of an amazing treat and coffee! Second visit to CGGMM for a tasting session generously invited by the cafe themselves. I was so excited for this day and indeed had a great time!

Featuring the Rocky Mountain (will have a close up review later), hot chocolate and a hand brew with La Maravilla beans from Guatemala, passionately brewed with Chemex by their head barista Amin.

I'm not a coffee expert but I love hand brews because I can taste my coffee better and fresher compared to machine espressos/long blacks. Amin described espressos like "a punch in the face" and hand brews as subtle and slow tasting. I definitely agree with that imaging. 😝

Coffee profiling: Slightly acidic but bearable, sweet, nutty, not so fruity. AND ITS NOT BITTER AT ALL! 😍 That's the best thing about filtered coffee especially Chemesx. It was so clean and aromatic. Chemex is a method of slow brewing with a kettle and something like a conical flask from Chemistry lab (as seen in picture) πŸ˜‚. It seems that you can control the acidity and bitterness by your pouring method and the skills of your barista. Amin definitely had the skills as I enjoyed my coffee in every sip! I learned a lot about coffee that day. [Thanks Amin if you're reading!]

Do have a chat with Amin if you want to learn more about coffee. He'll be delighted to share his knowledge with you.

Hot chocolate was delicious too! Although my friend didn't really like it because it tasted like pure cocoa and was slightly bitter, I like bittersweet hot chocolates! The latte art is amazing as well. Look at those fine lines!

As I said before CGGMM is great place to chill and have quali-tea time (pun). Great quality coffee, tea and desserts. They will be expanding their food menu soon so do lookout for them!

Coffee: 8/10 Price: 9/10 (RM 10 for hand brew and hot chocolate - another place for cheap and high quality coffee. Much cheaper than some cafe for overpricing locals as much as RM 18 for hand brews 😭)

If you're looking for cafes that open on Mondays, you're looking at one. CGGMM at Millenium Square. Worth a visit! Public holiday tomorrow cafe hoppers! πŸ˜‰

Yes. I know it's illegal to post desserts at this time of the day. πŸ™Š

Two donuts stacked on top of each other and a scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. Sounds good right!!! I like how creative this snack/dessert is. They're donuts are the classic glazed kinds. It's simple yet satisfying for a sweet tooth. But the donuts did taste quite milky and yeast-y. Just like J.Co donuts. If you like J.Co, you'll love this special dessert. The ice cream was there to cover the milky-ness for me. So double thumbs up!πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Had this with my coffee; OMG were they match made in heaven! Hahaha it goes very well with the hot chocolate that I had too! Bittersweet combination. Yumm 😍 I smell coffee and cakes while typing this. Sigh.. I didn't have coffee nor ice cream today 😭

Food: 8/10 Price: 9/10 (RM 7 FOR TWO DONUTS AND A BIG SCOOP OF ICE CREAM! THATS CHEAPER THAN ONE SCOOP OF ICE CREAM AT ICE CREAM PARLORS! 😱😍)

P/S. No they didn't pay me to say these although I was invited for a tasting session. I honestly like this place and enjoyed myself. Friendly staff, nice ambience and coffee. Oh I'll come back for their red latte too if I could. 😁 It's just that their location is a little secluded. 😒 Bonus! Lookout for an old uncle who's always there! It's so cute to see him enjoy his regular cuppa here. Hipster uncle. πŸ’

Had my first red latte! And it tasted amazing. Although it's sort of like a first class Teh Tarik, it actually tasted quite nice. Seriously, it smells like Teh Tarik but it's less sweet and has different tea taste compared to a sugar laden Teh Tarik. Still a good blend by the cafe! Very smooth and relaxing.

Also couldn't resist a peanut butter banana cake. 😬 It is similar to The King, minus the chocolate. Of course the King tastes much better and softer. This cake was very dense and solid. Incredibly filling! I couldn't taste much banana but the icing was quite creamy. Not too sweet, so the cake wasn't too bad! It went well with my red latte. ☺️

Nice cafe. Good ambience and quiet. Millenium Square is very secluded and not many comes here. So it's quite an empty mall. This cafe doesn't serve bigger meals but only coffees, cakes and pastries. Basically just a small space for you to chill, have tea and do your work.

Food: 7/10 Price: 8/10 (RM 9 for Red Latte. RM 9 for Peanut butter Banana cake - Much cheaper than The King!)
