A purveyor of local dining with a western twist, this restaurant serves up modern singapore dishes at competitive prices. • A favorite of many is the bak chor mee pasta ($19). Thick tagliatelle tossed in a soy based sauce topped with thin pork sheets(think shabu-shabu style) and a small piece of foie gras. • While its always risky to redo singaporean classics, this is one that surprisingly works. The flavours are strong with the sauce playing a crucial role binding it all together. The foie gras adds a welcome touch of luxe while the wedge of lime appears to mellow out the richness of the dish. The vegetables added some freshness but i felt were generally unnecessary. • This was a hosted eat-up courtesy of @burpple and @redpansg

Prawn & ‘Hae Bi Hiam’ Pasta ($19) Call me a sucker for local inspired pastas, but I still fondly remember having redpan’s hae bi hiam pasta more than a year back. I’m happy to report that it’s still as good as before! A nice hit of spice and definitely packed with hae bi, it’s everything you’d expect from it. 🍝

Durian Baked Alaska ($9) What an elegant-looking dessert! I'm so mesmerised by the presentation of it 😍 The outside is meringue that is blow-torched, encasing the durian ice cream. I find the meringue a little too sweet in addition to the already sweet ice cream. Nevertheless, it was indeed the most popular dessert on the table.

Bak Chor Foie Gras Pasta $19 Interesting menu here at redpan! Food here is a fusion of our local and western food. The dish was savoury with the sauce and meat but got “jelat” towards the end.

Decent 1-for-1 Wagyu Buffet Rainy days ☔️like these make me miss these melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu Karubi 🐮and Gyu Tan 👅slices, lightly grilled Yakiniku style for the best flavours~ Mmmmm~~~ 😋💋💋💋 #tenkaichi is now having a 1-for-1 promo, so it comes up to about $67/pax for the premium set including free flow drinks 🍵! Not the most mind blowing buffet I've had, but quite ok for the amount of Wagyu you're having. ✌🏻💕 If you don't eat beef, there's a variety of seafood 🐟🦐 such as fresh and succulent scallops and cod fish, and the cooked food such as Unagi was good too! 🙆🏻🇯🇵 Just don't expect too much from the "service" here... 🙈

Wagyu Beef Buffet @$79.80++ The best beef buffet I ever been too. Have already eaten here a few times with friends. The beef is well marinated and the buffet includes sashimi, giant Hokkaido scallops. But the main dish is the BEEF! 🐄 🐄 #wagyulicious

Deluxe Buffet ($49++) There are two types of buffet, deluxe is the basic while premium is the one with wagyu. Go for the deluxe to save $ and if you're not iffy about beef quality, though the beef available for deluxe is already pretty good. Skip the pork, ox tongue and bone-in short rib and go for the Karubi (beef short rib) and Harami (outside skirt) and and and the large intestine 🙂 Alsooo get loads of salmon sashimi (there's tuna too) and the Saba which was surprisingly everyone's favourite item. It's really thickly cut and fresh. Now one of my favourite buffet places because of the Saba haha and really too much variety doesn't matter when you have a good selection of sashimi, seafood and BBQ meat. Costs $5 more for fri-sat, and I think $5 for drinks (but no don't fill up on drinks just get the iced water and eat more)

Didn't plan to post this but I thought I need to share this. 🔸 I just had the lunch set here from $10.80 onwards. Choose from sashimi with tempura ($16.80) , or really well grilled fish (seabream with mentaiko, or flounder at $14.80) with crispy skin and tender flesh, and it's inclusive of free flow of sides such as these stuffs here, fat salmon sushi, chawanmushi and takoyaki. And the food was surprisingly good. 🔸 The salmon sushi is still in my IG story. The meal here was a steal.

I ordered the seasonal soba which came with really large tempura prawns coated with a seasonal batter and tender chicken breasts and truffle oil. I found the combination a tad strange and it didn’t cut it for me. I should stick to my usual traditional favourites.

You’d never guess what salad this is. One of our friends is a regular here and he says that this is the bomb! It was love at first bite. Chicken skin salad which is so addictive. Can’t stop once you start.

Special Truffles Dashi Maki Tamago with Club Japanese Sauce Hands down the most decadent Dashimaki Tamago I have ever tasted, Nadai Fujisoba Ni-Hachi’s signature tamago is definitely a must-order. Soft yet firm, the layered block first arrives without any sauce and seeing just the lovely specks of truffles seasoned between the rolls was almost enough. Then the server pours over a generous amount of thick steaming sauce straight into the pan, which really gave the dish an extra oomph with the sweetness of crustaceans in the mix. Hence, highly recommended from one egg lover to another, I really enjoyed the deep aromatic flavours of the earthy truffles, savoury dashi-soy sauce, and sweet omelette. The Special Truffles Dashi Maki Tamago ($15) also had a really luxe mouthfeel with the shreds of crabmeat in their Club Japanese Sauce
