Nishio Matcha With Yuzu Crema This is a very interesting drink for matcha connoiseurs. Try it and see if you can taste the difference between Uji matcha and Nishio matcha, the latter slightly priced more. The crema had a faint hint of yummy yuzu. At $6.30 it is on the expensive side but well, its real cream and not vegetable oil-based cream.

Matcha Soft Serve 🍵➕🍦 Price: $6.00 The cone was so big!!! Bigger than I expected it to be. Good for two to share. Now this soft Serve is really for matcha lovers out there. The matcha flavour was so intense and it was not sweet at all, even slightly bitter! I loved it so much as it was so creamy and reminded me of a matcha latte. I liked that it wasn't sweet at all too as it made me feel like I was drinking the actual tea itself 🍵 It actually felt healthy!?!? Hahaha I know it's not. They also sell it in a charcoal cone but I wasn't convinced to get it as I did not understand why it cost 70cents more for a black cone. MATCHA LOVERS you HAVE TO try this. It will definitely leave you feeling zen 💆🏻.

Matcha & Houjicha Softserve [$5.70/Cup] Redeemed this pair from the purchase of a Fave voucher ($8.70) and got a flavour each. Thought the houjicha fared better with its bitterness and nice roasty-ness, but personally felt that they were quite underwhelming in comparison to the other softserves around. I liked that they weren’t as sweet but was hoping for stronger tea notes. Not sure if it's because of the voucher redemption but the portion seems smaller too?

Matcha Mountain Azuki Shibuya Toast ($23.90) Miffy meets Kumoya from 5 Oct! The halal menu is inspired by @littlemissbento and Matcha Mountain Azuki Shibuya Toast ($23.90) is the most popular dessert. Shibuya toast is decorated freshly churned Hokkaido soft serve, swirls of cream, 🍓, matcha sticks, and a Miffy 🍪. It’s sprinkled with pistachio bits, and has two dango balls and some azuki on the side. . Drizzle sweet and creamy matcha sauce then cut the Shibuya toast open. It's very solid but inside are squares of buttered toast. Pick one up with a fork and scrape the milky and icy ice-cream onto it. The plain cream is also deliciously sweet, but for some bitterness, try the matcha cream. 🍓may be sour but pluck off the only buttery Miffy 🍪, and soon you'll forget about it! . Thank you for the invite @kumoya_singapore it was super kawaii! 💛🐰

The Early Fatback: "Kiss Me Sweet" Café Latte from the Kumoya x Cinnamoroll pop-up, which flies home this Sunday. ⠀ PS This white puppy is ranked top character in the fan-voted Sanrio Character Ranking 2017 in Japan, with fellow canine Pompompurin ranked second and the lazy egg a distant fifth. It's a good year for puppies.

Cheese Guan Yin 》$4.10/Medium I'm not a fan of their cheese foam drink 😐 The combination feels weird. Drink from the straw and all you taste was guan yin tea. Sip from the top and I get slightly salted cheese foam. Mix them all and it just taste like guan yin milk tea but the original guan yin milk tea from the menu taste better.

For Unique Cheese Foam Teas Homegrown brand LiHO, which means "how are you" in Hokkien, has replaced all 80 outlets of Taiwanese tea franchise Gong Cha. Expect a good variety of bubble tea classics like Milk Tea + Pearl (from $3.30) and Earl Grey Milk Tea ($2.90), along with their signature cheese tea, which sees a savoury cheese foam layer topping the drinks. The result is a savoury, bittersweet combination that the Burpple community is beginning to warm up to. Take Burppler Thechoyalicious :)'s advice to pair the foam with one of the Chinese tea selections, which will balance flavours nicely. Try this in the Cheese Jing Syuan Tea (from $4.10) and Cheese Guan Yin (from $4.10). Avg Price: $5 per person Photo by Burppler Thechoyalicious :)

Came down for the pull cheese toast but the chef was not in that night :( so we have to settle dinner else where and take away 2 cakes for our dessert later. Order the matcha cake (not in pic) and the Suzette ($9 each). Marcha cake was soft and moist, we love like it. But Suzette was way too sweet for us. Maybe we will return to try the cheese toast soon! 👍🏻2.5/5 📍 53 Tras St Singapore 078992 Tras St, Nesuto, Singapore 078992

Surprised myself when I actually enjoyed the salad that comes with the new mains of Nesuto. The full portion of Mushrooms & Spinach ($14) comes with shoyu egg, juicy pickled shimeiji mushrooms, refreshing baby radish tho I’m still not a fan of the greens. Only wish there was a little more crunchy textures to it. The in-house dressing has got to be the star for me. If you’re on a diet and am craving for chicken rice, this might be your next best option, because the dressing reminds one of it! (Salad with mains comes without egg)

Mushrooms & Spinach [$14] Quite a twist on salads we commonly see, in here there’s pickled Shimeiji mushrooms, shoyu egg, baby spinach and a house dressing of ginger and shallots. It started out with an idea of appealing to local tastes and I’ve got to say it does taste a lot along the lines of chicken rice and samsui chicken! The Shoyu egg was well marinated and the different elements came nicely together. PS. Portion here’s the tasting portion, actual serving size would be bigger.

Salmon & Avocado ($22, With Salad) Favourite cake shop recently launched some mains! The menu is small but there’re options for those who wanna save calories for more cakes; and the sinful indulgence of grilled cheese sandwich. For something healthier, this open-faced salmon with avocado toast is something tasty to go for. Sourdough bread was chewy and crisped on the sides, with cream cheese spread, while the smoked salmon, zesty from a little lime, is cured in-house - so it isn’t salty! The capers gave a little burst of flavour to the milder salmon slices. Served with thin slices of refreshing baby radish and the creamy avocado cubes which I wished there were more of but it’s just me being greedy. Thank you @cweizhi for extending the invite and @dear.nesuto for having us! 😊

Volcano Lava Cookie ($9.90). Luscious salted egg lava oozes out of chewy charcoal cookie as we dropped a scoop of ice cream on it. Giving into temptation, we had the salted egg ice cream which also comes with small chunks of egg white to balance the salty taste. At a lost of how to pair? Just ask the friendly staff and they are more than willing to provide you some suggestions. • Creamery Boutique Ice Creams Address: 139 Tyrwhitt Road #01-03, Singapore 207557 #CreamerySG

Quaint Dessert Spot In Jalan Besar I immediately fell in love with this quaint botique dessert place. I love the aesthetics and ambiance of the place. It's a perfect spot to bring your date or your friend after eating brunch in one of the cafes around the area. We specifically went to this resto since I love cookies and I love lava cakes! So when i found out that they serve cookie lava desserts, I knew I had to try it. In fairness, their cookie lavas and their ice cream did not disappoint. One cookie lava is perfect to share. Their service is also topnotch since the friendly waitress will accomodate all your questions, and suggest the perfect cookie lava and ice cream pairing. I will definitely recommend this to my friends!

Hail from Bangkok and now expand to Malaysia and Singapore, Creamery serves huge molten cookies along with ice cream that's freshly made in house! Red Devil ($8.90) is made of a chewy red velvet cookie with cream cheese lava center that oozes out when we drop a scoop of lychee sorbet (has bits of lychee fruits too!). Distinctive flavours that pair well together, we just can't get enough of the "Devil" • At a lost of how to pair? Just ask the friendly staff and they are more than willing to provide you some suggestions. • Creamery Boutique Ice Creams Address: 139 Tyrwhitt Road #01-03, Singapore 207557 #CreamerySG

Looks are deceiving, a mess as it appears, taste good! Red devil is a red velvet lava cookie, oozes cream cheese, yes it immediately make me compare this to a red velvet cupcake. No it taste different, the red velvet taste is significant, less buttery, cream cheese is more on the saltish (more cheesy side), which i prefer. Friendly staff recommend this to go with super baby milk ice cream, milo dinosaur was chosen instead, thou not the best combi, nonetheless, each is delicious on its own. Oh, thanks staff 4 being attentive to give us another 3 spoons to taste one another's dessert #sgfood #sgcafe #moltenlavacookie #sgdessert #burpple

Belgian Chocolate Cheesecake $8 When I ordered this, I wondered if this would taste more like a chocolate or cheese cake. But when I tasted it, I actually tasted both! Neither flavours were trying to outshine the other, both fused well and this really hits the spot when you are craving for both types of cakes but can only have one. Decadent but not overwhelming, I can't wait to be back to try more of their other cakes!

Creamy Heaven Avocado Chocolate Cake ($7.50 nett) I wish I'd discovered this earlier! Really satisfied my avocado cravings, but not in an overwhelming way. However, the "chocolate" was just what you can see on the top & sides... Not much of it. I'd like to see it as just an avocado cake - not an avocado "chocolate" cake. 💵 Cash NETS only 🌬 Air-conditioned seats

Carrot Cake Slice Hadn't been back here for a very long time despite school being relatively close by, but it feels very much like had lost the initial charm here — its bustling now but it does feel a little too noisy in this very quaint and quiet neighborhood within a private estate. The Carrot Cake that I am fond with has also changed; now serve in slice form — a little less moist and more crumbly than I would have expected it to be with very light hints of cinnamon flavour that was barely detectable; almost like having any other piece of cake. Even the cream cheese frosting felt like it lost a bit of its moisture. The food has definitely seen better days even though the place isn't as busting as what it is now ...
