This place came with high expectations after hearing and reading so many good reviews from locals and foreigners. Was it worth the hype? Most certainly yes.

With a total of 54 ala carte selections for the lunch buffet menu, all the dishes are served table-side and they are categorised by the ice bar, pasta, the grill & rotisserie, the tandoor, the wok, local roast meats, noodles, the steam basket, the patisserie and the fruit stall. From the omnipresent sashimi platter at most premium buffets to pasta selections such as carbonara and spaghetti bolognese, what Colony shines brightly is the grilled options such as chicken roulade coq au vin and steamed sea bass with green dragon vegetables. Even though eating carbs might not be a wise choice to maximise your buffet experience, do not miss out on the Colony Singapore Laksa and leave some stomach space for their desserts and kuehs.

Went to Colony on a Friday night dinner. All the staff are very professional, taking orders promptly with 5 star service level. Atmosphere is romantic under dim light and elegant furnishings.
Lobster meat is perfectly firm and charred to perfection. Oyster is a little small but it’s understandable given the price paid. Tandoori fish is worth to try, creamy and crispy on the outside. Beef steak is tender and juicy.
Price: $102 per pax, exclusive of service charge and gst. Using Citibank for payment to enjoy 10% discount.

I need to highlight the crabs!! I spammed so much of it

📍 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐲, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐳-𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐧 🍰 7/10 #teesfoodreviews

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐚 (𝐒𝐆𝐃$𝟒𝟗++, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐨) at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore (@ritzcarltonmilleniasingapore) that I had awhile back was truly an experience ☺️

The afternoon tea experience comes with savoury bite-sized dishes served in a really pretty five-tier tiffin (swipe right to see) 😍 it also includes unlimited servings of a wide selection of both local and Western desserts - which is perfect for those with a sweet tooth 😋 the menu also changes from time to time, so if I’m not wrong, its already different now!

Personally, the highlight was the desserts (esp. the local dessert selection) & the quality was really good! 🤤 The savoury items were great too, but portions were relatively small for the price, and I think it wasn’t anything super note-worthy (though I definitely enjoyed it)! I also think the ambience and experience makes up for it, and thank you to the staff for their impeccable service! ✨

Will definitely return to Colony for its quality tea-time treats, but probably only when there’s a special occasion given the price - especially given the charming ambience 🤩

Set came with 2 champagne for 2 of us and a tea selection.

It was my 2nd visit to Colony and i was slightly disappointed. I came last year and the savories was better thought out with a meaning to each dish and the sweets were on a buffet. I was very impressed back then.

For the same price, i gotten all savories and sweets cramped into the same 5 layer tiffin container. Each item was average, while the cookie was too flour-y. I understand it is due to the covid measures but i feel like they could have done better. Would not recommend until they change back to the previous menu.

Desserts bar wasn’t as extensive as the high tea one but they still had the peanut roll 🥜, and I’d suggest going for the matcha cake and chocolate fudge ball (ok I forgot the name it’s the round thing)
