NTU students rejoice! Enjoy a cuppa hot (or iced) coffee and teas at this quaint cafe located in the NTU Innovation Centre. Order their White ($4.50) or Mocha ($5) for an extra chocolate-y perk-me-up during mugging sessions or catch up with friends over an Iced Matcha ($5.50). Don't forget to try out their Japanese-fusion rice bowls too!

had this some time back when it just opened: yakitori rice bowl ($8), gyudon ($9) and mazesoba ($7). all the bowls were really good! especially love the yakitori!!!!

I really wanted to like this, but the mazesoba sauce had a weird taste, and the grilled pork was too sweet for my liking. The other components for each bowl was average, but I’m better off eating can 14’s ban mian when in NTU.

BME Mazebowl ($7, clockwise starting from the biggest bowl). It’s a “Japanese Bak Chor Mee” they said. Sauce is colourless but full of flavour. L probably one of the must try from Connect 71!!

Lor Bak Bowl ($8): it’s a very average lor bak dish that many moms know how to cook it. It’s great, just not worth $8.

Gyudon ($8): didnt try this but my friends said they were great!! (I mean, anything Beats typical school food 🤩)

Students and staff are entitled to 10% off & top up $1 for their cold brew tea!!

Ordered Gyu Don ($9) and Lor Bak Bowl ($8). Portion was pretty good for the price (as compared to cafes outside)! However, it was slightly disappointing that they ran out of the Cold Brew Tea that was supposed to come with the main course and they did not offer any other drink options.

Overall, food is good and will consider coming back again!

Finally a legit cafe in NTU!!! My friend and I got yakitori don and it really does look like decent cafe food! The don was topped with edamame, corn, pickles, onsen egg, and yakitori. I actually rarely see cafes choose to put edamame into their donburis because it’s not a crowd favourite but somehow it worked really well in in this combination. Being a huge fan of mentaiko, I was pleasantly surprised to see mentaiko mayo on the yakitori! It’s pretty affordable too, priced at $7.2 for ntu students!
