Both were quite smooth and creamy, but I like the slightlyyy lighter mouthfeel plus lower sweetness in gelatiamo’s gelatos, it’s more refreshing. After this I wanted to drink water.

In terms of flavour both were pretty nutty and distinct, hazelnut melted a lot faster tho. My friend and I both preferred the flavour profile of the pistachio over the hazelnut! Not bad, I wouldn’t mind trying their other flavours.

With a more distinctive roasted black sesame flavour, the Matcha Goma Cookie Sandwich was pretty fun to snack on. A little messy but the sandwich held up nicely. Slightly crumbly, the cookies (like a matcha sable) had hints of savouriness and a subtle bitterness which matched well with the tea-flavoured ice cream layers. Grassy and earthy, the ice creams were great individually too. However, I liked it more when the ice cream melted a little so they would kinda mix and blend in every bite.

Better than I remembered, COTTA’s Waffles ($7) was truly light and airy. Fluffy in the center and uber crispy on the outside. And so to pair with the fragrant squares, I got the Sicilian Pistachio and mystery flavour of the day, Peanut Butter with Banana Cake ($9/ double scoop, +$1 for premium flavours). Love the hints of cinnamon from the chunks of cake embedded in the scoop and the pleasant peanut flavour (rather natural tasting with not so much of the butter) - not overly cloying or rich. Equally nutty and smooth, the classic Pistachio was enjoyable and nicely balanced but a tad milky.

Sun-date with le mum~😎

Both flavours were good, but mum prefers the Violet & Berries to the Sicilian Pistachio one…😋

Berries one tasted sweet and sour, pretty refreshing, while the pistachio one was creamy yet distinct roasted pistachio taste, not bad eh~🍦

As for the waffles, buttery, crispy & fluffy, nice savoury and sweet combi (with the maple syrup)…🍯

Decent coffee, like medium roasted with nutty/ caramel/ chocolatety finish.🍫

Wouldn’t mind visit again…😜

Note: Cosy cafe that can accommodate around 18 pax, limit to 1 hour dining time…

We realised that @cotta.sg do serve up interesting drinks and we had to try!

The Orange Osmanthus Cloud ($8) was really an amazing concoction. Refreshing citrus from the orange juice, paired with aromatic Osmanthus tea and topped with sweet milky cream, this drink was really addictive. Very smooth on the palette, this was a good refresher in the afternoon heat. Absolutely lovely!

The Cotta ($9) comprised of latte topped with pistachio cream. Smooth aromatic coffee with a rich and nutty taste coming from the cream, it was a delicious drink as well. The coffee was not too strong and is definitely for people who are looking for dessert coffee!

Seats can be rather limited, so there might be a short wait to try out such wonderful drinks!
