Weather too hot, so decided to have not hot food at @crack.sg in @timbreplus for lunch.
Pulled Chicken 🐓 Sandwich 🥪 (S$6)
Topup S$2 For Fries 🍟 and Lemonade
Accompanied with Otah Scotch Egg 🥚 (S$4)
Refreshing appetizing meal but way too much for one.
Since it’s way too hot to eat at the non aircon place, so had the meal takeaway with additional S$0.40 for the takeaway boxes.
Tender meat, mixed with appetizing chilli sauce, stuffed between pillowy soft buttery bread 🍞, accompanied by a zesty coleslaw.
The fries 🍟 tasted hint of curry powder, served with bbq like sauce.

the egg and cheese sandwich with an added homemade sausage patty ($6) from @crack.sg located at @timbreplus at onenorth.
this might be the closest that singapore gets to #eggslut without a franchise of the store actually opening here. one might be tempted to compare this to a sausage mcmuffin, but looks are the only similarity between this sandwich and the mcdonald’s breakfast staple.
freshly prepared to order, the creamy egg is paired with a slice of cheddar and slightly spicy mayo - sriracha perhaps. the sausage patty does not have a funky processed meat smell and isn’t drowned in pepper - quite unlike the one from mcdonald’s. it retains a good bite and you can actually make out pieces of meat in the patty. the addition of pickles provides some welcome crunch. finally, the proceedings are rounded up by a pillowy-soft brioche bun that yields to the bite with a gentle sweetness.
add $2.50 to make it a meal with fries (a tad over-salted), slaw and iced coffee. a real steal for the price! if not for its inconvenient location, this delicious sandwich would definitely be a staple in my books 🤤

Instead of minced pork, piquant otah encases the egg ($4 for one). Breaded and deep fried for that extra oomph, it's served with a side of nostalgic crispy prawn crackers. They open at 9am but the scotch eggs are only available from lunch onwards.

Simply adored the sausage patty that was kiap-ed in between the egg and cheese. Not your usual frozen processed sausage nonsense, but the chef here makes her own patties that's infused with some herby goodness. Thumbs up crack! I'll be back !

Light and fluffy egg slice, classic cheddar cheese and cucumber pickles(!) sandwiched between two fresh buns hot off the griddle. Even if you’re not a huge fan of eggs, you’d love the sandwiches at Crack. Add bacon to the mix and there’s a party in your mouth. Their otah scotch egg is also a must-try!
