From the Burpple community

It’s resided on the ground floor of Catholic Centre. Ordered 4 dishes - Miso Pulled Pork and Achar Burger, Franciscan Burger, Chilli Crab Spagehetti with Soft Shell Crab and Good Shepard’s Pie all only at $39.55 using 1-1 deals. It averages out to be $10/pax and it’s well worth the price. As a social enterprise, the service was great and the support from the crowd is quite good with a steady stream of customers coming in every 15 mins or so. Out of the four dishes, the Miso Pulled Pork and the Chilli Crab came out tops. The Pulled Pork was just nice with the right layer of fat and not too oily. Japanese and Peranakan cuisine all in a burger - this fusion is definitely not overbearing. Go support our very own Social Enterprise!

My dad is not the kind to propose having cafe food, and definitely not one that requires driving out of the way to obtain! But he read about Crossings and was determined to support this catholic social enterprise. All mains have been discounted to $8.90 - my family ordered the soft shell crab pasta, barramundi, fish & chips and Franciscan burger :-)

Pork ribs was abit disappointing><
Soft shell crab was not tht bad.
Fries was surprisingly good

Have been here twice and loved the food both times. The 1 for 1 is really worth the money and I especially enjoyed this soft shell crab pasta dish! Tried their orval beer to n it was really good too

Had a lovely dinner here with the boyfriend. We ordered the truffle mac and cheese and the chicken parmigiana with Burpple Beyond, both of which we enjoyed immensely. The mac and cheese was nicely fragranced with truffle; rich, creamy and loaded with bacon and mushrooms. The chicken cutlet was fried to perfection and topped with a delicious tangy tomato sauce and melty cheese. It came with a simple but nicely dressed side salad, fries and even a large onion ring. Both dishes were generously portioned (we’re so full now!) and really value for money. The service was also excellent—the staff were friendly, attentive and very enthusiastic, which we appreciated greatly. We really recommend dining here and would like to encourage people to support Crossing’s latest cause: for the next 6 weeks, you can donate $10 towards a meal card and the cafe will provide a hot meal for a person in need. Thank you Crossings, we’ll be back soon!

The meat was fatty but not oily, comes with sambal chilli quite special to go with the western burger. Prawn cracker, fries and salad were in the meal too!
