Everytime I come to Culture Spoon, I HAVE to get the I Love You Berry Much ($5.50). Made with fresh juice concentrate (not syrup!!) on a fragrant jasmine tea base, it's the perfect refresher for Singapore's sweltering weather. For the quality, it's pretty affordable since fresh fruits are also used, which definitely cost more than pre-made syrups. I'd recommend asking for less sugar if you drink 0% sugar bbt, but it's perfect for me (I drink 30-50% sugar bbt)!

Made with absolutely no food dye, the eye-catching dome made of purple sweet potato can attest to how much natural goodness you're getting, which is more than what many cafes can say for the heartstopping amounts of artificial colourings & flavourings in many conventional options. With taro cream, coconut sago and almond sponge inside, the pastry has a pretty well-rounded earthy flavour that makes me reminiscent of Burbur Chacha, a traditional dessert prepared with similar ingredients. I love how well the grainy texture of taro complements the lightness of the almond sponge, creating a dessert that is light but does not skimp on flavour. Since the flavours are as natural as it can get, it can be a culture shock for people who've never had taro, but the good news is that there's more of it for all taro lovers out there! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

Heard quite a fair bit about Wok with Manโ€™s Thai Cuisine at Culture Spoon, but I didnโ€™t really quite expect that the Tom Yum Seafood Soup here was actually way better than what some other Thai establishments would serve up.

Coming in two portion sizes, we went with the small to share considering we did end up coming in skipping lunch and had to reserve some stomach space for dinner (we were only initially intending to grab a cake). A rather spontaneous decision, this was something that we were glad that we went with โ€” the Tom Yum Seafood Soup comes with elements such as prawn, seabass, squid, chili and lime; the clear soup being undeniably clean and comes with that piquant spiciness from seeds off the chili padi whilst carrying suitably sour tang that makes one yearn for more. Despite its price at $15.00, the soup is good to share amongst two โ€” the portion of the seafood and mushrooms being especially generous as the soup comes laden with ample ingredients to share; an item that is good to have on its own even without the rice, and perhaps one of my favourite clear Tom Yum Seafood Soups out there given its balance of sourness and spiciness, whilst coming with a clean finish that makes it exceptionally shiok.

Pretty impressed with what I have had at Culture Spoon thus far; from the cakes from Cultured Backyard to the specialty coffee from Quarter Life Coffee Roasters and Chef with Manโ€™s Thai Cuisine โ€” there has never been a single visit that we were not impressed by what they have to offer. Looking forward to try their other concepts such as Hainam Noms and Dumplings Republic; quite thankful for how there are places such as Culture Spoon that provides entrepreneurs of the F&B scene a collaborative space to operate from in staggered hours throughout the day that makes concepts such as these a possibility.

๐ŸดWith Pantler just a stone throwโ€™s away and Baristart my reigning favourite (check out #chouxchowdown for their comparison), couldnโ€™t help but check out this new contender.

The choux was served crisp with a crackling exterior, although the interior was slightly dry. It was generously piped with cream that lay somewhere between milk and custard. While the lighter cream was not spectacular per se, the winning and unique element was the addition of crunchy caramelised almond pieces within.

Price-wise, this would be the most affordable for its size (slight bigger than Baristartโ€™s). While personally still prefer the luscious cream of Baristartโ€™s and richer cream of Pantlerโ€™s, the fight is close and which you prefer is taste-specific.

๐€๐ฅ๐จ๐ก๐š ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ง๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ž (4 โญ๏ธ; $5.50) - Refreshing tropical drink combining jasmine green tea with lime, orange, apple, pineapple, and passionfruit juice. Love the use of natural fruit juices instead of syrup and mint leaves for added freshness.

๐ˆ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐„๐‘๐‘๐˜ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐œ๐ก (3.5 โญ๏ธ; $5.50) - The tea element was on the lighter side but the berry lovers among us enjoyed the predominant berry flavour from the mulberry, raspberry, and blueberry purรฉe.

When I found out one of the chef of the Thai food here used to do a pop up at Boufรฉ during circuit breaker. This place became one of the most visit place in my list. Ordered the braised pig trotter rice and was surprised when it came only with the meat! Taste of the food was very good. Burnt cheese cake was also very good with a serving of cream on the side which enhanced the cheese. Definitely one of the better burnt cheese cake I have had.
