Ok, I must give credit for the ingredients used, not only in this dish but across all dishes across this popular Cze Char establishment along Upper Thomson. The frog legs are super succulent, better than the famous stall at Geylang. The additional slices of abalone would surely improves its appeal to the generations of China emperors but do little to add Cze Char authenticity, the true flavours we want to savour at Cze Char stalls, our unique food heritage. Still overall it is better than most "Foodology" (I'll explain what I mean) hawkers, and pretty presentable especially if you are hosting your guests.
Pretty decent presentation and scores well on texture. Looking pretty close to Taiwan style omelette 菜脯蛋. Finding it a little small and too little crabmeat at $8.
It didn't look particularly good, especially when I can't find the very shy moon (semi cooked egg yolk). The taste lacks the wok mei (wok's char-fried wholesome flavour) which disappoints especially when hor fun is not exactly my favourite when it comes to carb crave.
