This BCM as good!! The dry meekia version had an oomph to it, and it was a better than average medley of noodles and sauce. Defo sth I'll keep coming back to!

From Da Lian
$4.50 portion of flat egg noodles with fishballs, meat ball, sliced fish cake, fish dumplings & 3 taste sauce (vinegar, chilli and ketchup)
Tasty and highly recommended!

Saw the set up of the stall, the master prepping each bowl of noodles and the patrons eating ba chor mee and I was sold!
Unfortunately, the $4.50 bowl looked great but tasted less than great. Soup was bland, noodles and liao were sufficient but lacking the zest of a great bowl of noodles that one would return for.

Grew up eating this. Sadly they do not serve it with lard anymore. 🙊

The chili used is of a dry type much like HK style 辣椒油. Generous with ingredients and pork lard - even without special instructions. They do add some dark soya sauce, akin to KL style. Overall lacking in minced pork and sliced pork, which I will to prefer instead of the added shrimps. The stall name is now Jia Yuan, the same operator as the Ah Hup Bak Kut Teh in the same coffee shop.
