The whiff of mala is irresistible, and it's a must have - great to dip the meat and beancurd rolls and especially, in this rainy season. ($60 for 2 with burpple beyond). Meat servings are generous

Different type of hotpot experience, with more herbal taste. Meat and vegetables selection are standard. Came to try this place cause of Burpple but the deal isn’t worth.

Surely having hotpot is comforting on rainy days like today. And even more so with a fiery hot and numbing mala hotpot that’s filled with dried chillies 🌶 .

Situated at the 8th floor of Orchard Central, this hotpot restaurant is a nice alternative for people seeking for a quiet supper place in town. They are open until 6am! When I was there at about 11pm, I was the only customer

Their specialty soup base is the fiery butter mala, and mushroom flavor. The waiter recommended us to try the mild level, and I have to thank him for saving my life. Even at mild level, the mala soup base is lethal. The spice immediately took the a hit at the back of my throat the moment i took a sip that caused me to cough. For mala lovers, feel free to knock yourself out by going for the a higher level. (sorry i weak)

For non-mala lovers, you will be happy to know their mushroom soupbase is refreshing and addictive as well.

Do take note that their maggi noodles ($2 for two) require more time to cook than usual, but the wait is worth it.

If you are a seafood lover, their prawns ($16 for 7-8) is a must-order. Very fresh and crunchy (like those dim sum prawns in har gow) after cooking in the soup.
The waiter was attentive and showed good initiative, such as offering aprons and peeling the prawns

Interestingly, they do not offer chicken meat option. You can go for their black pork ($8 for half portion) or the Australian marbled beef ($20). However, the meat does not leave a lasting impression on me

For sauces and condiments, its $2.50 per pax. But I would say the mala broth will provide enough kick to your buds and throat
