The creamy broth using mainly collagen ingredients like pork bone ,fish maw, pig skin, chicken feet and pumpkin (to add the sweetness and colour for the soup), simmered for 6 hours.
It’s light and delicate.
💰$42 (whole soup pot). $32 ( yun Yang soup pot).
📍Da Miao Hot Pot.
Clarke Quay, Block C, #01-11.
3 River Valley Road.

When I saw this on the menu, I was equally puzzled as you are reading the name of this item.

Yes, it is ice cream, and yes, those are Sichuan peppercorns on the ice cream. This genius creation is a cold, numbing yet surprisingly tasty dish to end your meal with!

The sweetness of the vanilla ice cream is doused with peppercorn oil, leaving your throat slightly numb after every scoop of ice cream. The thing is, that doesn’t stop you for going for the second round as you enjoy the feeling of the coldness & numbness of the combination!

Damiao Traditional Yuan Yang Soup Pot
special spicy soup and pig bone soup

Serves up Sichuan cuisine, Da Miao Hotpot’s special blend soup is said to contain more than twenty spices, vegetable oils and herbs. Besides a good dining experience, it’s also a feast to our “eyes” with an extraordinary performance like Chinese opera face-changing which is in line to their company motto – Creating a ‘feast fit for the five senses’ befitting celebratory moments in life. For once we were so engrossed in their exciting performances and food is secondary.
.
We were served with Da Miao Traditional Yuan Yang Soup Pot which is a combination of Fresh Mushroom & Pig Bone Soup and Da Miao Special Spicy Soup. Some of the dishes that we have enjoyed imported Australia Prime Beef, Pork Slices, Fresh Shrimp Paste, Scallops and Chicken Slices. .
Not to miss Chinese opera face-changing which is not commonly found in Singapore. Do note that this show is only available at selected timing. Make your reservation near the stage to get the best experience. .

Da Miao Hot Pot is one of the leading hot pot cultures from Chengdu, Sichuan.
If you’re looking for something to eat in the cold weather, you should give the Traditional Yuan Yang Soup Pot ($20) a go 🤤 It consists of a Fresh Mushroom & Pig Bone Soup on one side and Damiao Special Spicy Soup on the other 🌶
They serve the most exotic dishes I’ve ever seen like Swine Trachea ($16) and Fresh Tripe ($16). The swine trachea is basically like a pig’s windpipe (6th pic) and it had a crunchy bite to it while the fresh tripe is the stomach (1st pic) and it was really soft and chewy.
If these aren’t your type of food, just give the imported Australian Fresh Beef Premium ($32) (3rd, 4th, 5th pic) a go with the soup. It was just so amazing and comforting altogether ☺️ #damiao #damiaohotpot #asiaprwerkz #clarkquay #boatquay #robertsonquay
