Finally got down to trying this tantalising bowl of Nagoya Maze Soba. A decent bowl of springy noodles along with a dash of shallots, minced meat, onsen egg, vinegar, which when mixed up together, turns out to be a decent bowl of soba well worth the price! My only qualm is that if you eat slow, the noodles all cloy up into a lump. Have heard high praises for their chashu, so that shall be the next bowl I'm going to conquer the next time I'm here! ⁣⁣

At the first look, you might thought they are a Chinese stall but they actually sell Japanese maze soba.

Their signature definitely would be this one that comes with the chashu. Expect the beautifully presented side dishes like bamboo shoots, spring onion, dried shrimp and nori on your bowl.

The who ingredients mixed well with the chilli flakes and even the noodles has it own texture. $6

First back-to-work lunch was this mazesoba from 2 months old @dailynoodlessg and I enjoyed it!

The dash of Japanese vinegar helped to enhance the flavours and whet one’s appetite. Toss well with the runny onsen egg and you’ve got a luscious creamy bowl. The noodles were good (tho it visually reminds one of maggi mee lol) - I liked how springy it was with a good bite, they were quite generous with the smoky chashu and it was tender! Overall a pretty good bowl of mazesoba for its price ($6) and I’ll definitely be back! 😋

Wow if you tell me qq ramen with 3 slices of perfectly charred charsiew with the right ratio of fats:meat, accompanied by an onsen egg and generous amount of bamboo shoots is just going for $6, it would be hard for me to believe - till I tried this one.

✅ value for money
✅ a humble family run hawker store
✅✅✅ extremely delicious

Located on 2nd floor of Amoy, it's a treasure I'm so glad I found. The secret of adding a splash of vinegar made it all the more tantalising.

That is one generous slab of chashu from Daily Noodles, especially when the Chashu Maze-Soba is going at $6.50 per bowl😱 The sauce is savoury with a hint of sweetness, and the dash of vinegar ties the flavours together nicely:) The chashu is soft, smokey and pretty good👍🏻 #chashu #mazesoba

Have been spying on Daily Noodles ever since they opened at Amoy Street Food Centre and I finally got down to trying it today! The Nagoya Maze-Soba ($6) turned out to be a pleasant surprise - the springy noodles is deliciously coated in a fragrant mixture of minced meat, onsen egg and fried shallots, and the portion is of decent size:) The noodles is served with a dash of vinegar, which prevents it from becoming overly cloying towards the end of the meal:) For this price,I’m pretty impressed with the quality I get👍🏻 The chashu maze-soba shall be next!
